Mrs. Toni Kaye UnderwoodMrs. Toni Kaye Underwood Stough, age 59, of Brilliant, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Faye Cain Underwood, grandparents, Clyde and Vena Underwood and Johnnie and Louie Cain. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Allan Stough, stepchildren, Angelica, Beth and Brittany Stough, sisters, Lori (David) Colley of Brilliant and Holli (Randy) Channell of Northport nieces, Whitney (Zack) Marks and Carly Channell and her puppy, Tipsy.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove cemetery in Fayette Co. Visitation will be held from 12:00 (noon) until 2:00 p.m. service time.

Harry and Patricia RodgersMr. Harry Lucian Rodgers, age 71, of Winfield passed away, Thursday, November 30, 2017. Mr. Rodgers was a graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School and owner of NAPA Auto Parts “The Parts House” in Winfield. He is a member of the Winfield First United Methodist Church and a member of Fayette Country Club.

Harry and Patricia were married for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, L.H. and Florence Thompson Rodgers and an infant son, Patrick Rodgers. He is survived by his sons, Dan (Monica) Rodgers of Tuscaloosa and Rob (Julee) Rodgers of Birmingham, grandchildren George Rodgers, Ben Rodgers, and Catherine Rodgers, brother, William Robert “Pat” (Brenda) Rodgers of Trussville and sisters, Evelyn Griffin of Birmingham and Kay Drake of Decatur and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Harry and Patricia will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday December 3, 2017 from the Winfield First United Methodist Church. Brother Earl Freeman will be the officiating minister.

Harry and Patricia RodgersMrs. Patricia Jones Rodgers “Pat” age 76, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017. 

Mrs. Rodgers was a 1960 graduate of Fayette County High School and a University of Alabama graduate. She is a member of the Winfield First United Methodist Church where and was very active with the choir. Mrs. Rodgers was an English teacher at Winfield City High School for over 30 years. 

Patricia and Harry were married for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Eloise Jones and an infant son, Patrick Rodgers. She is survived by her sons, Dan (Monica) Rodgers of Tuscaloosa and Rob (Julee) Rodgers of Birmingham, grandchildren, George Rodgers, Ben Rodgers, and Catherine Rodgers, sisters, Lea Currie of Fayette and Frenchie (Herbert) Trim of Northport and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.

Mr. William Andrew Langley, age 79 of Guin in the New Hope Community, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Langley fell in love with coon hunting and plott hounds when his father gave him his first dog at the age of 8 years old.  After the untimely passing of his father, Andrew worked in the coal mines by day, and, to help raise money for his family, hunted at night for coon pelts.  Mr. Langley was a coal miner and a strip pit operator for many years until his failing health, he served for 6 years and 4 months in the Army National Guard as a E-6 Staff Sargent.  Andrew was a member of the NPHA (National Plott Hound Association) for 55years and was awarded The Life Long Achievement award for his achievements with the plott hound breed.    He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Betty Hollis Langley, brother, Horace Langley and an infant sister. Mr. Langley is survived by his wife of 56 years, Audie Vee Langley, his son, George W. Langley and daughter, Ginger (Phillip) Barnett, grandchildren, Jennifer Shaw, Drew Hunsinger, Levi (Whitney) Hunsinger, Ashley (Jared) Symonds and Amber (Ryan) Spann, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Joe Maurice Langley, Charles D. Langley and James A. Langley, sisters, Vera L. (Bill) Merritt, Tracy Cook, Judy L. Hubbert and Linda L. Trull, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery.  The visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (service time) on Wednesday.  Bro.
