Kenneth Earl Trull, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud and loving father and grandfather. He was a true friend to those who knew him. Born in Fayette, Alabama to the late Earl Trull and Sudie McDonald Trull, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gaylon Trull. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Whitehead Trull; two children: Bill Trull (Katie) of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; Meredith Trull Green (Chad) of Tuscaloosa, AL; 8 grandchildren, Kaley Trull of Mount Pleasant, SC, Elayna Trull McElroy (Thomas) of Greenville, SC, Carmen Trull of Mount Pleasant, SC, Ethan Green of Hoover, AL, Abby Green Bates (James) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Noah Green, Isabella Green and Lilah Green of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother Harvey Trull (Pam) of Homewood, AL.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, Air Force and Navy. Ken was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. But most of all he will be remembered for his love of his family and friends. He had a love for photography, music and was passionate about spending time with people and the way he could make friends with everyone he met. He was an active member of Trinity Bible Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Bowen Funeral Home Monday, April 9, 2018. Visitation will be 1 until 3 o’clock with service immediately following. Burial will be in the McDonald Family Cemetery in Wayside, Alabama. Pastor and friend Barry Owens will be officiating.

Mrs. Martha I’dora McDonald, age 92, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Sunset Manor Healthcare Facility in Guin. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, Session and Ruth Lenora Kilcrease Cook, husbands, Lonnie Currie and G.W. McDonald, infant daughter, Martha Jean Currie, son in law, Jim Nabors, sisters, Veta Wysocki, Joyce Exum, brother, Pat Cook, step son, Paul McDonald, step grandson, Quinton McDonald. She is survived by her daughter, Lonice Nabors of Winfield, step daughter, Linda Weeks (Richard) of Winter Haven, FL, step son, Michael McDonald (Diane) of Winfield, grandchildren, Ronnie Blue (Neva), Ryan Weeks (Lauren), Wendy Thornton (Russell), great grandchildren, Alisha Clark (Brandon), Michelle Studdard (Bart) and great great grandchildren, Brody and Payton Studdard, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. McDonald are scheduled for Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Bro. Ms. Betty Gann Bell better known as Prebble, age 83 of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Prebble was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winfield and was retired from the bookkeeping department of the State Bank and Trust of Winfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Exie Bostick Gann, a brother, George Gann, and a sister, Sarah Gann. Ms. Bell is survived by her daughter, Melanie Bell Norris (Steven) of Winfield, a son, Sam Bell (Denise) of Tuscaloosa, grandchildren, Hollie Bell Elmore (Caleb), Caleb Norris and Cole Norris, great grandchildren, Hadley and Emerson Elmore.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Mrs. Doris Ann Hulsey Porter, age 83 of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Porter is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Thelma Corkren Hulsey and her brother, Charles R. Hulsey. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rex E. Porter, children, Sandra G. Porter of Atlanta, GA, Edward R. Porter (Karen) of Atlanta, GA and Charles B. Porter of Winfield, grandchildren, Starla Pearson, Paige Porter, Tracy Porter, Tiffany Willis, Austin Porter, Tara Porter, Kayla Porter, Heather Smith and Krushinda Brannon, 10 great grandchildren, niece, Anita Jones, cousin, Joyce Clanton, and sister in law, Doris Hulsey of MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
