Mr. Leburn Cogar “Lee” Franks, age 79, of Smyrna, TN formerly of Lynn, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN. Mr. Franks was retired from John Deere Manufacturing Co. in Moline, IL. He is survived by his daughter, Jeannette Raburn (Ken) of Haleyville, AL, step son, Jimmy Green (Janice) of Smyrna, TN, step daughter, Barbara Green Cameron (Jerry) of Moulton, AL, grandchildren, Brittni Moody and Matthew Raburn, great grandchildren, Maddie Moody and Bane Raburn, 4 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, sisters, Willadean Palmer of Guin, AL, Maylene Harlan (Kenneth) of Winfield, AL, brothers, Roland Franks (Bertha) Franks of Mayville, TN, Floyd Franks (Beverly) of Moline, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Rilocalestie “Callie” Phillips Franks, wife, Earline Tittle Franks, brothers, Clifton and Clay Franks, stepson, Jerry Wayne Green and step granddaughter, Teresa Draper. Funeral services for Mr. Franks will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Guin, AL, Bro. Mr. Arthur Lawrence Finch, age 88, of Winfield passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Finch was a truck driver and worked for McCluskey Lumber for many years. He was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Finch is preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Lillian Clinton Finch, wife, Willie Lou Finch, and a brother, Joe Finch. He is survived by his children, Janet Hindman (Hank) of Fayette, Joyce Butler (Butch) of Winfield, Lori Marshall (Clint) of Winfield, Wayne (Lisa) Finch, Ronnie (Vicky) Finch and Tim (Jimmie Sue) Finch all of Winfield, grandchildren, Tony, Jason and Cody Finch, Tessa Patton, Tara Galloway, Ron Stokes, Stephanie Slaughenhoup, Megan Bolton, Amanda Finch, Ashley Sprinkle, Tyler Marshall, Tanner Marshall, and Andrea Cantrell, 15 great grandchildren, and a brother, Elmer Finch. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Mr. Dalton Ray Nix, better known as "Dalt", age 75 of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Nix and Mary I. Hollis Nix and Florence Nix, a son-in-law, Vince Weeks, brothers, James, Ben, Hollis, Will and Luther Nix, Jim & Freddy Ledlow, and sister, Adalou Tarwater. He is survived by his wife Suzann Whitehead Nix, his daughter, Keela Nix Weeks, and a son, Heath (Patti) Nix, all of Winfield, grandchildren Jarrod (Beth) Weeks, Kolby (Hilarie) Weeks, Tanner Nix and Brooke Nix, great grandchildren, Keleigh and Kaelyn Weeks, all of Winfield, a brother, Terry (Donna) Ledlow of Tell City, IN, two sisters, Martha Franchville of Tell City, IN, and Barbara Foster of Panama City Beach, FL, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the New River Church of Christ cemetery. Mr. Wesley Dale Webb, age 41 of Winfield, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his residence. Wesley was well known for his fine skill as a brick mason in and around the Winfield area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Launa Reed Webb, and his grandparents, Dowell Wesley Webb and Earline Nix Webb. Wesley is survived by his wife, Kathy Webb of Winfield, his children, Klade Webb and Cody Webb, a stepdaughter, Kaylee Walker, his father, Terry Webb, 2 grandchildren, a brother, Brian Mark Webb, a sister, Misty Darlene Foster, aunts, Kathy Davis, Gylisha Webb, Melody Robertson, Jessica Mauldine, and Emily McDonald, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
