Mr. Willie Dean HoschMr. Willie Dean Hosch, age 71, of Winfield passed away, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence. 

Willie was employed with Continental Conveyor and Equipment Co. in Winfield for over 36 years, he attended Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and never missed a Winfield Pirate football game from 1959 until his ill health in 2014. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hosch and Virginia Abernathy Hosch and his brothers, J.H., David, Ricky and James Dennis Hosch. Willie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Hosch, his children, Becky Cochran (Tommy), Rex  Hosch (Sarita) and Hoyt Hosch, grandchildren, Terran and McKenzi, step grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Jessie, Mandy and Tiffany, great granddaughter,  Eliza Jane, step great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Morgan, Brody, Zane, Eli, Tori, and Erylyn, his sisters and brothers, Katie McDowell (Mike), Rodger Hosch, Danny Hosch (Jowana), Phillip Hosch (Helen), Bobby Hosch (Shirley),Tommy Hosch (Pam) and Judy Hosch. 

Funeral service for Mr. Hosch will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the church. 

Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery. Bro. C. W. Box, Bro. Paul Gray and Bradley Hosch will be the officiating ministers.

Mrs. Marilyn Grey Johnson RobertsonMrs. Marilyn Grey Johnson Robertson, loving mother and proud grandmother, of Trussville, Alabama, formerly of Winfield, peacefully passed from this life on January 7, 2018. She was born on August 3, 1931 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winfield.

She worked for many years as an LPN at the Northwest Medical Center where she finished her career taking care of newborns in the nursery.

Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel T. Robertson and her parents, Joe and Alice Cantrell Johnson. Also preceding her were brothers Bernard Johnson and Hillard Johnson as well as sisters Hazel Tidwell, Yvonne Reed, and Nadine Porter.

She is survived by her children, Bob Robertson (Susan), Andy Robertson (Cathy), Susan Griffin (Andy) and Tracie Hunt (Joey) and sister Edith Courtney.

Affectionately known as "Gran Gran," she also is survived by her grandchildren, Kristi Hubbert, Julie Martin (Tony), Bobby Robertson (Lisa), Daniel Robertson (Brittany), Holly Thomason (Spenser), Kevin Griffin (Stephanie), Eric Griffin and Abby Tittle.

She was also the proud great-grandmother to Brittany Rawls, Connor Wells, Taegan Franks, Tinsley Franks, Mabry Robertson, Libby Robertson, Natalie Robertson, Maya Robertson, Ivan Robertson, Cora Jane Thomason and Carson Griffin.

She will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service (3:00 p.m.). She will be laid to rest at West Alabama Memorial Gardens.

Officiating ministers will be Dr. Paul T. Murphy and Dr. Charles Ballew.

Mr. Ralph Elwood Wirth, age 82 of Brilliant, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at his residence. Ralph was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Virginia Storey Wirth, and two sons, Joseph and David Wirth.  He is survived by his wife, Bettye McAdams Wirth, a daughter, Keely Kiefer (Brian) of Rocklin, CA, sons, Larry Wirth of Santa Rosa, CA, and Tom Wirth (Karen) of Napa, CA, grandchildren, Alanna Kiefer, Raquel Wirth, and Joseph Kiefer, a sister in law, Peggy Bergland and a brother in law, John McAdams.  A memorial service for Mr. Wirth will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  Bro. Mr. Tony Carlton Harkness, age 58, of Winfield, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.  Tony is a member of the Eastside Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Boss Harkness and Annie L. Harkness Spann.  Mr. Harkness is survived by his wife, Kanda Harkness, sons, Will Harkness (Morgan) of Oakman, Chris Harkness (Katye) of Clovis, MN, Josh Harkness of Carbon Hill, grandchildren, Henry Sawyer Harkness and Kenzlee Harkness, brothers, Jerry Harkness (Debbie) of Montgomery, Barry Harkness (Pam) of Louisville, KY and Larry Harkness (Susan) of Winfield and a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services for Tony will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (service time).  Burial will follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens with military honors presented at the graveside.  Bro.
