Mr. Douglas McArthur “Mike” Tittle, age 77 of Winfield formerly of the Pea Ridge community passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at his residence. Mike was born on August 5, 1942 in Nauvoo, AL to Theodore and Grace Tittle. He was a member of the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church. Mike loved his Heavenly Father, his family, singing, and Alabama football. Mr. Tittle was the owner/operator and a driver for his own trucking company for many years.

Mike is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Carolyn Perryman Tittle, a daughter, Angie Franks (Perry), grandchildren, Brandon Wates (Jamie), Dustin Franks (Lindsey), Jerica Box (Derek), and Brittany Armstrong (Justin), great grandchildren. Brooks, Marley and Emmett Armstrong, Lola, Lily and Henry Franks, Kruz, Emerson and Lennon Box, and Blanton Odom, sisters, Marie Sulsberry, Nellie Mann, Lena Smith and Evelyn Orrick, and his brothers, Dale Tittle and Darrell Tittle. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Kim Tittle and Lisa Tittle Sayre, parents, Theodore Tittle and Grace Sexton Tittle, and five brothers, Manly, Kermit, A.G., Wilburn and Junior Tittle.

A graveside service will be held for Mr. Tittle on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery near Pea Ridge. Mr. Robert Isac Jones, age 87 of the Hubbertville Community, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born on June 29, 1932 in Fayette County Alabama to Lester and Ada Jones.

Robert was a member of Berea Church of Christ and a Hubbertville High School graduate. Mr. Jones was a United States Army and Alabama National Guard veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. He was retired from the Alabama State Highway Department of Fayette County. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, Alabama football, and most of all, farming and working with his tractor. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Winters Jones, parents, Lester and Ada Hollingsworth Jones, brothers, J.T. Jones, Wymon Jones, a nephew, Phillip Jones, and a great granddaughter, Adisynn, he is survived by his daughter, Teresa Jones Damron (Ken) of Hubbertville, grandchildren, Kenneth Ray Damron, Jr., Kimberly Herman, Melissa Ciappa, Al Ciappa, Jeremey Ciappa, Joey Ciappa, great grandchildren, Bently, Cody, Cory and Faith, great great grandchildren, Alannah, Sadie, Camden and Nolan, nephews, Johnny Jones (Carolyn) and Donny Winters (Linda), a brother in law, Buford Winters (Jan) and a host of other close family and friends.

A graveside service for Robert will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Berea Church of Christ cemetery.

Miss. Martha Kay Banks, age 62 of Winfield formerly of Arab, passed away on Friday. April 17, 2020 at Diversicare of Winfield Nursing Facility. Miss Banks was born on July 25, 1957 to Wallace Banks and Grace Davis Banks in Tennessee. She is survived by her brother, Fred Banks (Tammy) of Union Grove, AL, nieces and nephews, Tori Smith, Katlyn Banks, Jamey Banks, Jeff Banks, Joey Banks and Jill Banks and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Ted Wyman Markham, age 79 of Winfield passed away on Saturday, April 18, at his residence.  Mr. Markham was a 1960 graduate of Winfield City High School.  He was a member of Guin First Baptist Church.  Mr. Markham was a devoted, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Verel Markham and his mother Lou Vadie Taylor Markham.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Simmons Markham, two sons, Stacy (Linda) Markham and Randy (Judy) Markham, a daughter, Tracy (Dan) Rao, grandchildren, Ty (Emily) Markham, Noah Markham, Dakota Markham, Aaron Rao, Megan Rao, Reid Markham, Savannah Markham, three step grandchildren, Keith Posey, Justin Posey, and Karenda King, and five step great grandchildren, Hayden Markham, Hayden Posey, Hagan Posey, Brayden King and Bryleigh King.  Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at Berryhill Cemetery.  Brother Kenny Hatcher and Brother Keith Box will officiate.  Bowen Funeral Home serving the Markham family.
