McClaine Alexander Burleson, age 24, of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, in the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. McClaine was born on November 22, 1994 to Vicki Vaughn Burleson and Tim Burleson.

McClaine is survived by his parents, Vicki of Winfield and father, Tim of Townley, AL, sisters, Victoria Conley and Olivia Burleson both of Winfield, niece, Aileyrose Conley, nephews, Liam and Kai Conley, aunt, June Vaughn of Winfield, uncle, Mark and Susan Burleson of Hamilton, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J. J. & Stella Vaughn and Jack & Faye Burleson.

McClaine was a 2014 graduate of Winfield City High School. He was always a huge supporter of all Winfield City School athletics. McClaine loved watching his sisters cheer and all his friends playing for the Pirates; he will always be their biggest fan. McClaine loved spoiling and spending time with his niece and nephews, who in turn, have always will always adore him. After graduation, McClaine moved to Tuscaloosa and became the face and spokesperson for UCP (United Cerebral Palsy). He loves meeting new people, and being close to the Crimson Tide. His exciting new life in Tuscaloosa was something he was very proud of, but he still loved his monthly visits with his family to his forever home of Winfield.

Funeral services for McClaine will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Winfield Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Guin Cemetery. Harrison Moran, Wayne Page and Mark Posey will be the officiation ministers. The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church. William Hubert “Price” Pearce, age 79, of Guin, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 in The Meadows Assisting Living Facility in Fulton, MS. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield.

Brandon Dewayne Hawkins, age 37, of Detroit, AL, formerly of Sulligent, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at his residence. Brandon was born in Amory, MS on February 13, 1982 to Stonnie Hawkins and Barbara Rye Hawkins. He was a 2000 graduate of Sulligent High School and worked with Broken Lives Ministry in Nettleton, MS.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Barbara Rye of Winfield, daughters, Taylor Hawkins of Sulligent and Aribella Hawkins of Hamilton, his fiancé, Rachel Carter of Detroit, aunts, Joyce Rye of Guin and Teresa Wiginton (Steve) of Sulligent, uncle, Mike Hawkins of Hackleburg, cousins, Cody Wiginton, Kelli Shelton and Zachery Barrett and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Stonnie Hawkins, his twin brother, Jeremy L. Hawkins, grandparents, Bill Hawkins and Julie Byrd Hawkins and Joe Rye and Hazel Carter Rye.

Funeral services for Brandon will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Webb Cemetery near Guin. Bro. Jimmy Swindle, Bro. B.J. Mills and representatives from Broken Lives Ministry will officiate. The visitation will be held on Friday August 2, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Myrtle Louise Sprinkle, age 84, of Winfield, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Sunset Manor Health Care Facility in Guin.

Mrs. Sprinkle was born on December 25, 1934 in Beaverton, AL to Elbert O. Smith and Bessie Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Coniles Vester Sprinkle, a daughter, Kathy J. Borton, a son, Roger D. Sprinkle, a granddaughter, Pamela Brown, great grand daughter, Katie Hines, sisters, Wynell Walton, Barbara Griffin and Katherine H. Taylor, brothers, William R. Smith and Joe R. Smith, and special friend, Bill Minor. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Seagraves (Danny) of Winfield, and her son, Vester “JR” Sprinkle (Jeff Garrett) of Guin, ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, a sister, Frances Hubbert, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sprinkle will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.
