Mrs. Deborah Lynn Sprinkle, age 65 of Detroit, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Mrs. Sprinkle was born in California to Lawrence and Delores Smith on May 30, 1955. Deborah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Sprinkle, parents, Lawrence Smith and Delores Schermer Smith, three brothers, Dick, Ronnie, and Denise Smith. She is survived by her children, Brandy Sanchez (Manuel) of Sulligent, Amanda Sprinkle of Detroit, Roger Sprinkle of Detroit, Jeremiah Sprinkle of Sulligent, Mariah Sprinkle of Littleville, a brother, Larry Smith of IL, and two sisters, Karen Ruby of Beaverton and Lisa Johnson of IL, a granddaughter, Salena Castro of Florence and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sprinkle will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday the 24th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Sprinkle family.

Mr. Joe Daniel Hollingsworth age 71 of Monroe, GA formerly of the Bazemore Community passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA.
Joe was born on December 18, 1949 to Luscus and Rhoda Hollingsworth in Fayette County Alabama. He was a graduate of Ecorse High School in Ecorse, MI. and served in the United States Marines. Joe was a family man and loved spending time with them. He was a man of his word, jokester, pool player, hard worker and had a huge heart of gold. Joe never met a stranger and loved making new friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Jhelisa Davidson Hollingsworth, his daughters, Somonie Hollingsworth, Brittley Davidson, sons, Julius Hollingsworth and Andre Thompson, a granddaughter, Jhela Mullinex, nieces and nephews that he raised as his own, Jeila Hollingsworth, Dujuan Hollingsworth, Joe Hollingsworth and Tenesisha Bonner, a brother, Larry Hollingsworth and a special sister, Beatrice Hazel, and a host of other nieces, nephews and other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luscus Hollingsworth and Rhoda Maddox Hollingsworth, a sister, Berma Hollingsworth and a brother, Terry Hollingsworth.
Funeral services for Joe will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Piney Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. Mr. Harlon E. “Dean” Dodd, age 86 of Winfield passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born in Fayette County Alabama on September 6, 1934 to Floyd and Estelle Dodd. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. Dean was a Christian and a loving husband, but most of all an incredible father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Dean was an entrepreneur, business owner and a truckdriver; he was always buying and selling equipment of all types. Mr. Dodd was the owner of Winfield Truck Parts for many years. Dean, along with Mr. Hershel Sprinkle, were co-owner/operators of D & S Excavating, coal mine, and trucking Company. Dean enjoyed Alabama Football, adventures of all kinds, and making friends.

Dean is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ann Perry Dodd, his children, Kenneth Dean (Connie) Dodd of Eldridge, Vicki Lynn (Jerry) Cooper of Huntsville, Glenn Ray (Lavonda) Dodd of Tuscaloosa, Kimberly (Terry) Prescott of Eldridge, stepchildren, Mark (Kay) Webster of Winfield, Tina (Ricky) Spiller of Winfield, and Jeff Webster of Winfield, grandchildren, Tim Dodd, Heather Dodd Smith, Caitlyn Cooper, Jeremy Cooper, Brittany Brown, Bradley Prescott, Scotty Webster, Jennifer Lacy, Cassie Tucker, Colin Webster and Katie Johnson, Kecia Evans, six great great grandchildren and twelve step great great grandchildren, two sisters, Maylene McWhirter of Eldridge and Merita Bailey of Hamilton, and two brothers, Bobby (Maxine) Dodd of Winfield and Benji (Kay) Dodd of Hubbertville, his lifelong friend Kenny Keeton and a host of nieces, nephews and other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Dodd and Estelle Sprinkle Dodd, wife, Carol Dodd, son, Phillip Dodd, five brothers, and two step grandchildren, Chad Webster, and Hayden Spiller.

Funeral services for Dean will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Kelley Cemetery. Mrs. Virginia Tawanna Tucker, age 72 of the Hubbertville community passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her son’s residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Fayette County, Alabama on February 21, 1949 to Buck and Ruby Reed Tucker. Virginia was a member of the Berea Church of Christ and attended Hubbertville High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ruby Tucker, her husband of 46 years, Dewey Tucker, a brother, Dennis Tucker, and a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Tucker. She is survived by her three sons, Eddy (Nikki) Tucker of Brilliant, Danny (Ashley) of Jasper, and Webster (Candice) Tucker of Cordova, grandchildren, Kaiti (Scott) Akers, Makenzie (Zev) Finch, Jerry (Kimberly) Tucker, Andrew (Kourtney) Tucker, Austin (Seirra) Tucker, Abby Tucker, Blake Tucker, Dalton Tucker, Cassidi Davidson, Makenzi South and her greatgrandchildren, Braden, Brody and Bryleigh Tucker , Adam and Lilly Vice, Bentley Akers, Jaymee Posey, Heidi, Charlotte and Sophia Tucker, a sister, Ramona Roby Tucker, and brother, Wayne Tucker and a host of other family and friends.
