Leonard E. FarleyMr. Leonard E. “Amos” Farley, age 77, of Brilliant passed away on October 24, 2017 at his residence. 

Mr. Farley is preceded in death by his parents, Kurt and Birdie Mae Hawthorne Farley, son, Dewayne “Opie” Farley, brothers, George and Howard Farley, sister, Mable Burgess and an infant sister. Leonard is survived by his wife of 52 years, Genene Farley, sons, Kevin (Stormie Dawn) Farley of Brilliant and Dexter (Judy) Barnett of Brilliant, grandchildren, Kevin Blake (Lindsey) Farley of Brilliant and Brittany Farley of Brilliant, great grandchildren, Kellan Dean Farley of Brilliant and Mason Adkins of Houston, TX, sister in law, Mary Ann Farley, nieces, Debbie Filyaw, of Foley, Connie Tucker of Gordo, and Sabrina Jenkins of Holly Pond and nephew, Bruce Lowe of Fayette and a host of great nieces,  nephews, relatives and friends.   

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Jerry Self will be the officiating minister. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dorothy KeetonMrs. Dorothy Ann Berryhill Keeton, age 80 of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Diversicare Healthcare Center in Winfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Dale Keeton, and her parents, Earnest Berryhill and Lourene Guin Berryhill. 

Dorothy was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church; she loved her church and her church family, always taking an active roll and helping with Sunday School, ladies auxillary, and with any other roll she could.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Keeton Dozier, (Tim) of Winfield, her grandchildren, Nicole Sayre and Rena (Josh) Morrow, great grandchild, Sibley Morrow, a sister, Tommie Lou Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Paul Gray will officiate. The visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (service time) on Friday at the funeral home.

Brian Weeks, Trey Williamson, Kevin Norris, McKinley Hallmark, Josh Morrow and Ronnie Weeks will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Christopher Lee Farris, better known as Chris, age 31 of Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on October 4, 2017 in Michigan. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Freeman, grandparents, Felix and Cozette Farris, and an uncle, Terry Farris. Chris is survived by his father, Dennis Farris (Stephanie), step sister, Meghan Alore (Anthony), step brother, Noah Gucken, Michigan, and a nephew, Sean Coffee, all of Lincoln Park, Michigan. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2017 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm, service time, at the funeral home.

Rhonda Lee NolesMs. Rhonda Lee Noles, age 51 of Jasper, formerly of Brilliant, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Max Noles, her grandparents, George and Evelyn Snow Noles, and Ernest L. and Vertie Lee Stone, and a sister Terase Ann Noles. She is survived by her mother, Linda Stone Noles of Jasper, daughter, Morgan Taylor Jones (Justin) of Jasper, sons, Justus Selon Noles and Noah Lee Noles both of Jasper, sisters, Angela A. Padbury (Harry) of Jasper, Amanda Noles McLain (Chris) of Curry, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fulton Bridge Cemetery near Hamilton.
