Mr. Willie Alton Dudley, age 90 of Brilliant, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at his daughter's residence.  Mr. Dudley is a member of the Brilliant Church or God and is a retired industrial mechanic.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Virginia Dedmon Dudley, his parents, Olie Mack & Coral Lee Treese Dudley and two sisters, Elizabeth Bonds and Dianne Stewart.  Mr. Dudley is survived by his son, Jim (Annette) Dudley and daughter, Nancy (Bill) Pollard, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and his sisters, Matie Lipham and Lula Malone.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.  Bro. Mr. Ary Dale Rawls, age 77 of Pinson, formerly of the Brilliant area, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Vincent's East Hospital in Birmingham.  Mr. Rawls was a 1958 Graduate of Brilliant High School, and a member of Center Point Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon begining in 1967, and as an Elder from 1972 until 2006.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie Huston Rawls and Clytie Eunice Corkren Rawls, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  Mr. Rawls is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Evelyn Sue Burks Rawls, his sons, Michael Dale Rawls (Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL, and David Lee Rawls of Centerpoint, grandchildren, Garrick Rawls and Dane Rawls, (Loan), great granddaughter, Iley Mae Rawls, sisters in law, Betty Jean Trull (Bobby) of Merritt Island, FL, and Sandra Singer of Pinson, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Brock Church of Christ Cemetery.  Charlie Rawls will officiate.  Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Rawls family.  

Cynthia Darlene “Cyndi” Key, age 45, of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.   Cyndi is preceded in death by her father, Wallace Lee Price, aunt, Linda Davis and her uncles, Tommy Glenn Sprinkle and Richard Colburn.  She is survived by her son, Cameron Roland (Ashley) of Winfield, mother, Shelia Key (Kermit) of Hubbertville, brother, Rodney Key (Del) of Fayette, sisters, Rhonda Lenahan of Holt, Edie K. Foster (Lee) of Winfield, grandmother, Louise Price of Winfield, grandson, Lee Pollack, and a host of other relatives and friends.   Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel.   Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time).  Brett Burleson and Thomas Nix will be the officiating ministers.   Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery in Fayette County.  Bowen Funeral Home Serving the Key family.

Mr. Jerry Don Flippo, age 76, passed away at his residence, Saturday, December 16, 2017. 

Mr. Flippo was retired from General Motors as an electrical engineer and has been a member of the Brilliant Church of God for 35 years.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carrie Wates Flippo, brothers and sisters, Howard Flippo, Elanie Cotten, Vertha Mae Norris, Vera Lee Pollard, Kenneth Flippo, Remona Vintson, and Robert Flippo. 

Don is survived by his wife, Debbie Flippo, daughter, Alana Duke (Jimmy), two sons, Tod Flippo and Trent Flippo, grandchildren, Christina Sadler, Ben Flippo, Jessica Flippo, Nathan Duke, Ryan Duke, Jamie Duke and three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A graveside services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from the Center Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.  Bro. Greg Webb and Larry Reese will officiate. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
