Mrs. Judy Ann Lawrence age 62 of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Mrs. Lawrence was born on July 10, 1959, to Bobby Joe and Ella Dean Perry. Mrs. Lawrence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she was a member of the South Hamilton Baptist Church, and a 1977 graduate of Hamilton High School.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her husband, Jeff Lawrence, daughter, Shandell Hosch (Jason), grandchildren, Jarett and Haley Hosch, sisters, Teresa Box (Keith) of Hamilton, and Donna Perry of Tuscaloosa, brothers, Wayne Perry (Patsy) of Nauvoo and Bobby Junior Perry (Kristina) of Tuscaloosa, a niece and nephew Paige and Jessie Box, and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Bobby Joe Perry, and Ella Dean Cagle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (service time).

Mrs. Jeanette Elaine Tucker age 63 of Carbon Hill passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at her residence.

 Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Walk of Faith Ministries Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and women’s devotional co-leader for many years. She was a 1976 graduate of Carbon Hill High School.  Jeanette was a talented painter and crafter and worked for many years restoring vintage vehicles. Jeanette and her husband Goldie owned Goldie’s Smokehouse in Eldridge for many years.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary “Goldie” Tucker; son, Daniel Tucker (Estelle); daughter, Rhonda Dover (Zachary); grandchildren, Haley Smith (Houston), Rachel Tucker, Zane Dover, and Zoey Dover; sisters, Pat Cagle, Lisa German (Tony), Wendy Wager (Chris), Lori Gunter (Robert), Donna IPock (Ron), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Mace (Ruth) and Jean Samuels (Charlie), and two brothers, Donald Anthony Mace and Mark Mace.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Thursday December 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the Walk of Faith Ministries Church in Nauvoo, AL with burial to follow in the Tidwell Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Pamela Ann Goodwin Braden age 53 of Jasper, formerly of Winfield, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Walker Baptist Medical Center. Pam was employed as a CNA for approximately 15 years for Pineview/Diversicare Healthcare Facility in Winfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Sherolyn Clark Goodwin. She is survived by her sons, Dillion (Neenah) Braden of Jasper and Timmy Braden of Jasper, grandson, Sasuke Casteil Braden, brother, Phillip Roger (Amy) Goodwin of Winfield, sisters, Patty Lashea Berryhill of Brilliant and Paula Renae Turner of Brilliant, husband, Stephen Harold Braden of Jasper, and special kitty, Ruby. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29th at 6:00 pm from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Robert Aston May, better known as Bob, age 81 of Winfield passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence. Bob was born on August 30, 1940 to Bythal and Ethel May in Marion County, AL. He was a 1958 graduate of Winfield City High School and retired from Continental Conveyor & Equipment Company after 35 years of service. Bob loved spending time with his family, sitting on his front porch, deer hunting and watching Alabama Football.

Mr. May is survived by his son, Allen May of Winfield, daughters, Jackie May of Winfield, Kathy May Hartung of New Orleans and Robin May Green (Jody) of Brilliant, grandson, Dylan Hartung of New Orleans and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Sue May, parents, Ethel May Franks and Bythal May, a brother, Rudolph May and a sister, Rosemary Franks.

A graveside service for Mr. May will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Winfield City Cemetery. Jeremy Harris will be the officiating minister.
