Mr. Bobby Wayne Stiles, age 77 of Winfield passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Funeral services for Mr. Stiles will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. LouNell Cagle, age 96, of Brilliant passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 surrounded by her family at her daughter’s residence in Purvis, Mississippi. LouNell was born in Lamar County, Alabama on July 19, 1927 to Leroy and Ora Mae McKay Barnes. Following her marriage, to Kermit Cagle they lived in Brilliant, Alabama. She was a devoted member of the Brilliant Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from the Marion County School District where she was a lunchroom worker and bus driver. She loved all her school kids.

LouNell was known for her faith, her family, and her generosity. She was a woman of God and a prayer warrior who loved her family fiercely and served the Lord. She was a sacrificial mother and an honorable wife.

Her ministry was sending cards of encouragement to everyone and fixing meals to feed anyone in need. She loved to travel and see new places. She was also interested in gardening and canning vegetables.

Like Mawmaw Barnes always said, “I only have beautiful children.”

She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Cagle Gray and Deborah Smith, granddaughters, Angie Roberts, Sandy Scott, and Alisa Tidwell, grandsons, Tom Smith (Jessica) and Trevor Smith (Nichole), great-granddaughters, Jessica Roberts (Dallas), Kayla Patterson (Earl), Codie Carter (Bradley), Alicia Ethredge, Katie Tidwell, Michelle Tidwell, Rachal Dodd Lolley (Chris), Elise Smith, Harley Smith, and Mila Smith, great-grandsons, Sonny Roberts (Paige), Colton Scott, Joseph Tidwell, and Beck Smith, great-great-granddaughters, Blakely LouElle Lowry, Mattie Patterson, Laila Carter, Brenna Carter, Taylor Jacobs, Trayonna Polk, Sailor Tidwell, Dalis Tidwell, Kam Smith, Tristyn Dodd, and Chelsi Lolley, great-great-grandsons, Rylan Roberts, Kullen Roberts, Rogen Patterson, Tyce Bromley, Kylan Polk, and River Tidwell, brothers, Wiley Barnes (Maxine) and Eugene Barnes, and a host of nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Euldean Allen and Shelby Barnes and a brother in law, Gary Rose.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kermit Cagle, father, Leroy Barnes, mother, Ora Mae McKay Barnes, sisters, Allean Guin (Early), Dorothy Elliot (Donald), Ruth Tittle (Howard), Betty Jo Willet (Perry), Joyce Ann Rose, Judy Gulley (Earl), and Nelta Sue Barnes, brothers, Jesse Barnes, Sam Barnes, James Barnes, Boyd Barnes, and Floyd Barnes, grandson, Tony Dodd his wife Cynthia Dodd, sisters-in-law, Willodean Cagle, Olivia Taylor, IvaDell Taylor, and Vera Mae Carrao. brothers-in-law, Orville Cagle, R.H. Cagle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cagle will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel in Winfield, Alabama. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. Service time.

Linda Sue Butler Perry, age 78, of Jackson, Tennessee formerly of Winfield passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Perry was born in Marion County, Alabama on November 16, 1945 to Columbus and Susie Lee Butler. She was a 1964 graduate of Winfield High School. Linda and her husband lived in Jackson, TN for more than 50 years, where she was a faithful member of the Campbell Street Church of Christ where she often taught Bible class. She exemplified the message of James 1:9 throughout her life, which states, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting, caring for children in her home daycare, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Columbus “Toad” Butler.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lloyd Perry, her sons, Evan Perry (Tracy), Ryan Perry, and Rhett Perry (Laurie), grandchildren, Alex Perry (Jordan), Kylie Perry, Kiersten Perry, and Cooper Perry, great-grandchildren, Lincoln Perry, and Roman Perry siblings, Loretta Wyers (James), Clarence “Buddy” Butler, Sambo Butler, and Tony Butler (Margene), and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from the Winfield Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. service time at the church.

Mrs. Linda Marie Langley Trull, age 79, of Winfield passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in the Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Trull was born in Winfield, Alabama on April 18, 1945 to Franklin and Betty Hollis Langley. Linda was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church and in earlier years was very involved in teaching Sunday School and other church activities. She was a 1963 graduate of Winfield High School and attended college where she earned a degree in Cosmetology. Linda later worked for Carraway Medical Center where she was employed as a phlebotomist for many years until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening, canning, bird watching, sewing, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Trull is survived by children, David Trull, Tammy Box (Phillip), Jeff Trull, Darren Roberts (Beth), Joseph Trull (Kellie), and Ross Trull (Jenny), grandchildren, Kaleb Trull (Aubrey), Chloe Trull, Adam Trull, Alesha Dodd (Kip), Phillip Box Jr., William Box (Alexa), Cody Roberts (Becky), Brooks Trull, Thomas Trull, and Beckett Trull, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings, Arnold Langley, Tracy Cook, and Judy Hubbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and church family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trull was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Trull, siblings, Joe Maurice Langley, Andrew Langley, Charles Langley, Horace Langley, Vera Merritt, and an infant sister, parents-in-law, Griff and Pearl Trull and brother-in-law, Ed Trull and his wife June.

Funeral services for Mrs. Trull will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. from the Winfield First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service time at the church.
