Mrs. Martha Ann Turner Hollingsworth, age 83, of Fayette passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 surrounded by her family at her sons residence. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 1, 1941 to Clifford and Mattie Lou Cantrell Turner. She was a lifelong resident of Fayette County. Martha was a member of Southside Baptist Church and attended Fayette County High School. She spent much of her life employed as a cosmetologist until her retirement. In her spare time Martha enjoyed shopping, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by her son, Cliff Hollingsworth and his wife Connie Hollingsworth, grandchildren, Christina Hollingsworth, Catherine Hollingsworth, Kaci Mullis (Ethan), Austin Hollingsworth, and Krystal Cox (Leslie), great grandchildren, Jonathan, Logan, Rylee, and Raegan Cox, and a host of other family members and friends.

Mrs. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Hollingsworth, son, Steve Allen Hollingsworth, parents, Clifford and Mattie Lou Turner, and sister, Marsha Elizabeth Halbert.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hollingsworth will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fayette Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
