uesday, November 8, 2022 at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. He was born in Fayette County Alabama on May 17, 1949 to Wilburn Houston Hollingsworth and Bonnie Mae Hubbert Hollingsworth. Dale was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ and a 1967 graduate of Hubbertville High School. He attended Northwest Alabama State Technical Institute and Northwest-Shoals Community College where he earned a degree in Drafting. Dale served in the United States Army and retired from Verizon Company after 33 years. During his employment with Verizon, he served as union president for the CWA Post #3974 for over twelve years. After his retirement, Dale enjoyed fishing, wood working, having coffee with his friends, spending time with his family, cheering on his grandchildren in their sporting activities and watching Alabama football. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jackie Hickman Hollingsworth, his daughter, Sandi Hollingsworth Webb, sons, Jason Hollingsworth and his wife Michelle and Jon Hollingsworth and his wife Leah, grandchildren, Kelsey Webb, Ethan Hollingsworth (Lauren), Kylee Wilson (Timothy), Autumn, Carter, Cadee Beth and Ceth Hollingsworth and great grandchildren, Evalee Hollingsworth and Issak Wilson, his sisters, Kay Rengers, Kathy Glover (David) and Vickie Holmes, brothers, Billy Hollingsworth (JoAnn) Randy Hollingsworth and Jacky Hollingsworth (Cindy), sisters-in-law, Lillian Hollingsworth and Martha Hollingsworth. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Mary Grace Tucker, Margaret Henderson, Bobby Hollingsworth and Joe Hollingsworth a nephew, Allen Hollingsworth and brothers-in-law, Willard Tucker and Ray Henderson. Funeral services for Dale will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the New River Church of Christ Cemetery with military honors. The visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Katrina Kay Franks age 42, of Winfield passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 in the Fayette Medical Center. Katrina was born in Winfield, AL on December 3, 1979 to Venthal and Linda Ganey Franks. Katrina loved spending time with family and friends at Windows Unlimited in Winfield and with the ARC program in Fayette.

Katrina is survived by her aunt, Grace Franks of Guin, special cousins, Rhonda Franks Markham of Winfield, Renette Gilreath (Malcom) of Fayette, and Rick Franks of Hoover, and a host of other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Katrina was preceded in death by her grandparents, and a cousin, Michelle Dickerson.

A graveside service for Katrina will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Winfield City Cemetery. A visitation time will be held on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.

Norman Malcolm Kilgore Jr.
“Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free”
Jr, age 39, died on November 4, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama. He was born on March 11, 1983 to Malcolm and Louise Kilgore. Jr was a son, father, brother, cousin, and friend. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his uncle and cousins. Despite a rough battle with cancer, he never lost his witty sense of humor and ability to make those around him laugh.
He is survived by his son, Hunter Kilgore; uncle, Raymond (Pam) Kennedy; aunt, Lisa Jones; cousins, Kendria Watkins, Joseph (Breanna) Kennedy, Justin (Holly) Kennedy, Slade (Kara) Guin; niece Kaitlyn Shedd.
He is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Trussell; parents, Malcolm (Louise) Kilgore; sister, Anita Shedd; cousin, Jonathan Kennedy.

Mr. William Wade Perry better known as Billy, age 74 of Winfield passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 in the Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham. Mr. Perry was born in Fayette County, AL on January 15, 1948 to Alton and Melba Aldridge Perry.
Mr. Perry was a member of the Church of Christ and a graduate of Aiken High School in Aiken, SC. In 1970 Billy graduated from the University of Alabama earning his degree in political science. The same day he received his diploma he left for Vietnam with the United States Army. He served his country from 1970 until 1973 as an Army Specialist stationed in Vietnam and Germany. Billy was a co-founder and contributor of the National Museum of the United States Army. He worked in construction for many years assisting with building factories until his retirement. Billy’s fast wit and humor caught everyone off guard and his loyalty to his Alabama Crimson Tide ran deep through his veins.
Billy is survived by his brother, Lloyd Allen Perry and his wife Linda Sue Butler Perry of Jackson, TN, nephews Evan, Ryan and Rhett Perry, and a host of cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Rocky Perry.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., Elm Church of Christ Cemetery near Winfield.
