She was a 1963 graduate of Hubbertville High School where she graduated with straight A’s and won 1962-1963 Miss Hubbertville FHA. During high school she met and married her high school sweetheart, Paul Glen Davis, with whom she shared over 56 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story was one of pure devotion and endless love. Early in her life, Bonnie was an army wife supporting her husband. She worked at Reltoc Mfg. Co. for many years and cleaned houses; but her main occupation was being a beloved wife, mother, and Nana. Together they raised two daughters, Jill Davis Wright (Stan) and Tanya Davis King (David). Bonnie was a loving Nana to five grandchildren who were the lights of her life: Tori King Kelley (Connor), Ian King, Adam King, Luke Woodruff, and Abby Woodruff. Bonnie was a faithful member of Tidwell Chapel’s Church of Christ. She let her light shine every day and always put others over her own needs. She was always giving to others and would rather do without herself so others could have. Her goal in life was to make it to heaven and she walked each day of her life with that goal front and center. She’d say if you missed heaven, you missed it all.
