Mrs. Robeana Gale Green, age 75, of Brilliant passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Green was born in Haleyville, Alabama on August 28, 1949 to Ralph Quinn and Dolly Bailey Logan. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Brilliant. Robeana was a 1967 graduate of Brilliant High School and attended UNA where she received her master’s degree in English and Spanish. She spent more than 31 years employed in the education system with Winfield City School, Marion County Schools, and later with Bevill State Community College as Director of Admissions before her retirement in 2014. In her spare time Robeana enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

Mrs. Green is survived by her son, Jerry Green and his wife April, her grandchildren, Korey, Kyle, and Karter Green, sisters, Eula Jones (Farris), Clara Price, Darius Rawls (Randall), and Rachel Hitt (John), and a hos t of nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Green, brothers, Flavil, Huey, and Jerry Logan, and an infant brother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial gardens. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
