Mrs. Yvonne Webb Morgan, age 87 of Gardendale formerly of Brilliant; passed away on Sunday, May 29th at her daughters residence in Gardendale with her friends and family at her side. She was born July 12, 1934 to Robert Vence Webb and Willie Hawkins Webb. She was a lifelong resident of Brilliant and a member of the Brilliant Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hugo “Goatie” Morgan, parents, twin sister who died at birth, brothers, Robert Lee Webb and John Cecil Webb, sons-in-law, Oliver Shelton Bonds and Millard Wayne McClung and granddaughter, Michelle McClung.
She is survived by her children, Donna Kay Morgan of Hoover and Vicki Michelle McClung of Gardendale, grandchildren, Amy (Tom) McElderry of Hoover and Kim (Brandon) Rowlen of Mountain Brook, great grandchildren, Nick (Haley) Holmes, John Morgan Rowlen, Megan (Tony) Albertini and Christopher McGaughy, great-great grandchildren, Ben Holmes, Nova, Cal and Luna Albertini, brothers, Donald Webb of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Bill Webb of Winfield and sister, Brenda Stroisch of Brilliant. She was also survived by Martha Burleson who was a daughter in her heart and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation from will be held at Bowen Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with graveside services to follow at 1:00 p.m. from the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Brother Greg Webb will be the officiating minister.

Mrs. Nora Lee Corkren age 76, of Brilliant passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Corkren was born in Brilliant, Alabama on September 29, 1945 to Joe and Pearlie Hicks Barnett. Mrs. Corkren was a 1963 graduate of Brilliant High School. Nora spent much of her life working in the sewing industry, the last of which was Tullahoma Industries in Brilliant before her retirement. Mrs. Corkren was an avid sports fan, but she especially loved Alabama Football.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Corkren was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey “Ott” Corkren, parents, sisters, Pauline Dodd, Ora Mae Linley Adkinson, and Sylvia Williford, and brothers, James “Bill” Barnett and Raymond Barnett.
Mrs. Corkren is survived by her sons, Scott Tittle (Juli) of Greenwood, Delaware, Mark Tittle (Donna) of Brilliant, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters, Christine Jackson, Earnestine Brittnell, Brenda Ward (Jerry), Jackie McInnish (Harold), and Ann Dykes, brother, Ray Barnett (Tammy), special nieces, Marlene Barton, and Yvonne Frazier, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services for Mrs. Corkren will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Goldmine Church of Christ Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Jason Edward Estes age 44 of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at his residence. Jason was born in Winfield, Alabama on March 13, 1978 to J. B. and Evelyn Herren Estes. He was a 1996 graduate of Winfield City High School and earned his Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology from Bevill State Community College. Jason was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jeff Estes. He is survived by his mother, brothers, Tim Estes (Libby) and Joey Estes, nieces, Stephanie Estes Barnett (Cody) and Mackenzie Estes Wakefield (Justin), nephews, Hunter Estes, Mason Estes (Nikki), Joe Joe Estes and a host of great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Jason will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow on Friday, May 27, 2022 in the Liberty Cemetery near Rock City. The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
