Mr. Jamie Don Cunningham, age 39 of Winfield, formerly of Sulligent, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Jamie attended church at Faith Fellowship in Winfield and was employed with Nichols Burial Service in Fayette. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Alabama Football, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Telisa Gray Cunningham, children, Adam, Thomas, Grayce Cunningham and Jacob White, a grandson, Isaac White, father, Bobby Cunningham of Winfield, mother, Sandra Lynch of Sulligent, sisters, Tracy Guyton (Steve) of Winfield, Tina Merchant (David) of Detroit, Jody Ives of Sulligent, brothers, Donnie White (Wendy) of Sulligent and Robbie Ives (Michelle) of Sulligent, father and mother in-law, Kenneth and Susan Gray of Winfield, his grandmothers, Sue White and Hilda Dudley and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Braxton and Lois Cunningham, Mureff White and Charles Dudley, a niece, Harley Kelley, stepfather, William Ives, aunts, Betty Harrison, Mary Ann Arends and Linda Patrick and uncles, Phillip and Robbie Cunningham.

The funeral service for Jamie will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery near Bluff. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Cunningham family.

Mrs. Mildred Ann McCay Dickinson, age 76 of Winfield, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her daughters’ residence. Mrs. Dickinson was born on April 29, 1944 in Birmingham, AL to Owen and Annalee McCay. She was employed as a spinner with the Winfield Cotton Mill in Winfield for 32 years. She was a loving wife and mother and loved taking care of her family. She was always full of love and joy, everyone that knew Mildred loved her and she loved them.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Deborah Oelberg, son, Howard “Roy” Leroy Dickinson, III, grandchildren, Summer Noelle Dickinson, Cody Charles Oelberg (Kayme), Elizabeth Brooke Edgil, Katie Corella Cook, great grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Ashlyn, Addison, Dalton, Belle, Bailey, McKenzie and Drew and a great great grandson, Koa Drew Webb and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Howard Dickinson, Jr., parents, Lucious Owen McCay and Annalee Brasher McCay, a grandson, Billy Dickinson, two sisters, Virginia Walker and Betty Spradlin and two brothers, Howard McCay and Lucious Owen McCay, Jr.

The funeral service for Mrs. Dickinson will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 12:00 noon from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the New Liberty Cemetery near Fowlers Crossroad. Mr. Gary Ray Hartzler, age 75 of Winfield, Al formerly of Moline, IL, passed away on December 26, 2020 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mr. Hartzler was born in Florida on December 30, 1944 to Ellis and Erma Hartzler. Gary was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church and the local Bicycle Club in Peoria, Illinois for many years. He enjoyed spending his spare time with Geocaching and Photography.

He is survived by his sister, Nadine Webster of Winfield, nieces and nephews, Chad Bryant (Lisa), Tammy Brasher (Richard), Christine Sulym (Wally), Gretchen English (Dan), Danny Hartzler (Misty) and Arron Hartzler (Katie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis F. Hartzler and Erma Beckler Hartzler and two brothers, Loren Hartzler and Galen Hartzler.

A graveside service for Mr. Hartzler will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Mrs. Maebelle McCollum Cagle, age 96 of Winfield passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Self Health Care Center in Hueytown, AL. Maebelle was born in Walker County Alabama on July 20, 1924 to Travis and Emma Benton. She was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church and owner/operator of Davis Cloth Shop on Hwy 129 for many years. Mrs. Cagle was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Benton and Emma Robie Benton, her husbands, Wiley McCollum and Arley Cagle, two brothers, J. T. Benton and Bud Benton and two sisters, Emma Dean Herren and Billie Eads. She is survived by her nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Self Nursing Home in Hueytown for their kind and loving care for Mrs. Maebelle during her stay.
