Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Taylor McCluskey, age 68, of Winfield passed away, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. McCluskey is survived by her husband of 34 years, Gary McCluskey, her children, Kathy Ann Harris Childers, Gary Clayton McCluskey (Diane), Susie Frederick (Jeff), Shannon McCluskey (Tina), Chris Davis (Leah), Daniel Mayfield (Charlene), grandchildren, Tyler Childers, Kara Goodwin, Aaron McCluskey, Ethan McCluskey, Megan Mathhues (Tyler), Haley Smith, Joshua Frederick, Jessica Enriquez, Jacob Davis, Jaycee Davis, Collin Mayfield, Conrad Mayfield and Catherine Mayfield, great grandchildren, Madison Havard, Mason Atkinson, Caden, Ryder and Saylor Mae Mathhues, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. D. Taylor and Opel Beasley Taylor and a sister, Patricia Kay Kelley.

A private family service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery. Bowen Funeral Home serving the McCluskey family.

Mrs. Janette Sanderson Roberts, age 79 of Guin, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the North Mississippi Medical center in Tupelo.

Janette was a 1958 graduate of Marion County High School, an avid Alabama fan and owner/operator of The Railroad Antique Wearhouse.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her children, Mickie Robinson, Jamie Smith (Janna) and Jennifer McBride (Doug), grandchildren, Lauren Meekins (Dave), Rhett Smith, Emily Brown (Jake), Austin Smith (Macey), Sarah Smith and Conner Smith, great grandchildren, Grayson Smith and Lochlan Meekins, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Roberts, parents, Buster Sanderson and Maxine McKay Sanderson and her brother, Al Sanderson.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from the Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Guin. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Philadelphia United Methodist Church. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Roberts family.

Mr. Larry Banks Weeks, age 76 of Winfield, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Larry was born on September 18, 1944 in Fayette, AL to Banks and Gerlene Weeks. He was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church, a 1962 Winfield City High School graduate, an avid Auburn fan and a member of Sons of the Confederate Veterans. Larry was a pastor for 21 years, served as a loan officer at State Bank & Trust of Winfield and later retired from Hyster-Yale in Sulligent as a tool-dye maker.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patsy B. Weeks, sons Terry Weeks (Carla) and Dale Weeks, a niece whom he raised, Stephanie Adams (Brian), step-sons, Tommy Butler (Nancy) and Packy Butler (Robin), grandchildren, Garrett Weeks, Will Weeks, Brody Weeks, Jackson Martin, Macy Smith (Austin), Mindy Hallmark (Zac), Sydney and Molly Rose Butler and a host of other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Banks Weeks and Gerlene May Weeks, a daughter, Kimberly Renee Weeks and a granddaughter, Abby Renee Weeks.

A private family service will be held due to the Covid Pandemic. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in memory of Larry. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Weeks family.

Mrs. Virginia “Ann” Green Gunter, age 76 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Monday December 7, 2020 in the Walker Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Gunter was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cefos Lee Green and Mamie Louise Markem Green, a son, C.J. Sprowes, a sister, Sherry Sandlin and two husbands, Tee J. Sprowes and Talmadge “Tag” Gunter. Mrs. Gunter is survived by her children, Teanna (Terrell) Guthrie of Eldridge, Addie Sprowes Brooks of Carbon Hill, David Sprowes (Lori) of Eldridge, Chris Sprowes of North Carolina, and Kevin Sprowes of Carbon Hill, grandchildren, Tiffany Guthrie, Tabitha Guthrie, Kayla Wilhite, Joey Sprowes, Hope Brooks, Gracie Gunter, McKenzie Gunter, Raylyn Gunter, Camden Sprowes, Kenneth Sprowes, Lexus Sprowes, and Emalie Sprowes, sisters, Eva Jean Gazoway (Wayman) of Dalton, GA, and Debra Banta of Winfield, a brother, Leroy Green of Winfield and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00m p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Philadelphia Church cemetery near Lynn.
