Mr. Kenneth Duane McRea, age 45, of Guin, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Fayette Medical Center. Kenneth was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Brookman McRea, his mother, Gloria McRea Taylor, sister Cheri McRea and step brother, David Taylor (Anita), his close friends, Rod Mayfield (Irish) and Shawn Lockheart (Lillie), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Hugh McRea, Jr., step father, Willie Taylor, grandparents, Hugh Sr., and Lottie McRea and Odis “Tom” and Zema Sprinkle, and an aunt, Beulah Jo Taylor. Funeral services for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service time. Ms. Joyce Charlene Berryhill Manley, age 88 of Brilliant passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Huntsville Medical Center. Mrs. Manley was a 1949 graduate of Brilliant High School and a member of the Goldmine Church of Christ in Brilliant, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Chester Berryhill and Agnes Melinda Sparks Berryhill, brothers, Warren, Wallace “Bud”, Russell and Rayburn Berryhill and a granddaughter, Caroline Manley. Joyce is survived by her children, Susan Pearce (George) of Guin, Hershel (Lana) Manley of Texas and Drew Manley of Brilliant and his fiancé, Lori Young. Her loving grandchildren, Jason Pearce (Donna), Jared Pearce (Misty), Mark Pearce (Tessa), Rachel Credeur (Aaron), Andrew Manley, Daniel Manley (Meagan), Holly Manley, Lori Cole (Riley), Kelly Flannagin, Cole Cosby, Chloe Cosby, Grant Cosby, great grandchildren, Joey Terrian, Daniel Stidham, Noah Stidham, Aria Manley, Adler Manley, Shana Davis, Cody Davis, Ayla Pearce, Andrew Credeur, Isabella Flannagin and Leanna Flannagin. Funeral services for Ms. Manley will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Goldmine Cemetery in Brilliant.   Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Mrs. Barbara Ellen Dye Shirley, age 69, of Guin, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Juanita Lee Dye, her husband, James Larry Shirley, a grandson, David Shirley, and three brothers, James, Frank, and Jerry Dye. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Shirley (Linda), Steve Shirley (Amanda), two daughters, Jamie Dawson (Jesse), and Jessica Brasseal (Chris), grandchildren, Nick Shirley, AnnaKate Shirley, Adalyn Brasseal, Brody Dawson, Easton Dawson, Jaxon Dawson, Kimberley Stevens, Julie Umfress and Jayden Eads, great grandchildren, Wade Shirley, Essence Shirley and Oaklynn Sipes, four sisters and four brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Goldmine Cemetery in Brilliant, AL. Ms. Tidwell was preceded in death by her parents, John Rainwater and Ruby Lee Tidwell Rainwater, and a son, Jonathan Gann. She is survived by her children, Daniel Gann of Fayette and Chasity Nix of Aberdeen, MS, grandchildren, Darron Lee Gann, Haven Vickery and Emory Terry, her brother, Richard Rainwater of Whitney, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
