Mr. H. E. Bostick, Jr. age 75, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 in the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. He was born on July 21, 1944 in Big Sandy, TN to Haskell Elwood Bostick, Sr. and Velda Bates Bostick. Mr. Bostick was a member of the Winfield First United Methodist Church, a 1962 graduate of Winfield City High School, a 1966 graduate of the University of Alabama, and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.

Mr. Bostick is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Jackson Bostick of Winfield, daughter, Katy Dyer (Keith) of Gordo and son, Jack Bostick (Heather) of Winfield, five grandchildren, J. B. Dyer, Zeb Dyer, Call Dyer, Emma Kate Bostick and Caroline Bostick, a sister, Carol Hurst of Huntsville and a brother, John Bostick (Betty) of Tuscaloosa, nieces and nephews, Susan Lowery, Jeffery Hurst, Andrea Gutshall and Nicole Frost, and a sister in law, Nancy Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Haskell Elwood Bostick, Sr and Velda Bates Bostick.

Funeral service for Mr. Bostick will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Winfield First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (service time) at the church. Mrs. Eleanor Anne Gaither Pope, better known as Anne, age 85, of Winfield, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the Sunset Manor Health Care facility in Guin.

Mrs. Pope was born on December 25, 1933 in Gadsden, Alabama to Horton Gaither and Myrtle Tarrance Gaither Story. Anne was a 1952 graduate of Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, AL and a straight “A” student all throughout. She was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Order of the Eastern Star. In 1954 Anne married her husband of 65 years, Richard Pope, Jr, in 1971, they adopted their daughter Ericka Anne Pope Spann. Anne worked as a bookkeeper and cashier for Sears, Roebuck & Co. from 1953 until 1971. Mrs. Pope was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Pope is survived by her husband, Richard R. Pope, Jr., daughter, Ericka Pope Spann, grandchildren, Andrew Dwight Spann, Erin Spann Wytiaz (Bryan)and Richard Drake Spann (Anna), great grandchildren, Jordan, Caroline, Skylar and Penelope and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horton Gaither and Myrtle Tarrance Gaither Story, step father, Kelly Brown Story, aunt, Evelyn Tarrance Hust, uncles, Calvin Tarrance and Jack Tarrance.

The funeral service for Mrs. Pope will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. James Wyers will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Daniel Tucker, age 74, of Winfield, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Diversicare of Winfield.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Dicksey and Lillie Motes Tucker, a son, Hoyt Tucker, brothers, Donald Ray, Eugene, Roland, Junior, Kenneth and Charles Tucker, and two grandchildren, Carson and Bralyn Owens. He is survived by two sons, Brian Tucker (Lisa) of Winfield and Scott Tucker (Colleen) of Northport, grandchildren, Adrienne Tucker of Brandon, MS, Kaleigh Tucker of Vernon, Keifer Slade Tucker of Winfield, great grandchildren, Austyn Hartley Stephens and Maddox Hayes Stephens, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Dan will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Danny Arnold Seagraves, age 61, of Winfield, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.

Danny is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jeanette Huguley-Seagraves, his children, Daniel Seagraves, David Seagraves, and Monica Seagraves, grandchildren, Melissa, Braden, Lossen, Jarrett, Alyssa, Waylon and Jase, step children, Jennifer Harkness, Chad and Magen Westbrooks, sisters, Fran Snides and Dede Wilt, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin and Lillian York Seagraves and a brother, Kevin McCloud.

A memorial service for Danny will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
