Norma Jean Couch Moore, 98, of Fayette, Alabama passed away on January 29, 2023 at Hospice of West Alabama after a fall with serious injuries. Services will be February 4, 2023 at Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama with Rev. Bill Sullivan officiating.  The service will begin at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior.

 
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, James Everette Moore; her parents, Alec and Jeffie Lee Couch; her brothers Robert, Raymond, Mack, Delmas, Alec, and Tom Couch; and her sisters Merle Yates, Helen Couch, Erin Burleson, Lillian Langston, Ola Nail, Martha Mims, Naomi Waldrop, and Dot Smith.
 
She is survived by her sons Danny (Sylvia) Moore of Northport, Alabama and Larry (Pat) Moore of Winfield, Alabama; her grandchildren Teresa (Scott) Jordan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mandi (Jamie) Ballard of Winfield, Alabama, John (Blakeney) Moore of Jasper, Alabama, Drew (Leslie) Moore of Coaling, Alabama; her great grandchildren Alana (Jacob) Box, Jake, Blake, and Hayden Ballard, Madison and Barrette Moore, Andi Moore, Carter and Chase Jordan, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 
Mrs. Moore was born in Wayne, Oklahoma, on September 21, 1924, and moved to Alabama as a young child. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and worked with the youth as well as many other aspects of the church.  She was an artist who painted beautiful pictures; she did China painting; she used her kiln to make Christmas gifts and other treasured items; and she was a master cook, gardener, quilter, and seamstress.  She was one of the most talented ladies one could imagine.  She will be sorely missed by her sons, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
 
Pallbearers will be:  Gary Trimm, Jerry Trimm, Ken Couch, Joe Nail, Scotty Moore, Keith Waldrop, Bobby McCraw, and Tommy Moore.
 
Honorary pallbearers will be: Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care Station 2, Hospice of West Alabama, Clara B. Brunette, Terry Dillard, and Tugboat Hubert.

Mrs. Freda Mae “Dede” Wallace, age 80, of Winfield passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Wallace was born in Marion County, AL on December 5, 1942 to Neal and Willie Mae Warren Williams. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and spent most of her life as a homemaker. Dede enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband Jerry Wallace, daughter, Linda Pollard (Ronnie), granddaughter, Ashley Rhudy (Dawain), great-granddaughter, Molly Rhudy, brother, Billy Gene Williams, sisters, Marie Bearden and Nell Cole, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patsy Hutchenson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Clinton Eugene Webster, Sr., age 90, of Winfield passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Facility. Mr. Webster was born on May 11, 1932 in Winfield, AL to Samuel Lee and Biba Pate Webster. Clinton was a 1952 graduate of Hubbertville High School and a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church. Mr. Webster was an veteran of the United States Army where he served his country in the Korean war. He was employed with North River Mining for more than 10 years, and later began working in construction where he spent many years. Clinton was very active in his church and many other community churches. He loved gospel singing and was a member of the Joy Masters Quartet for many years.

Mr. Webster is survived by his sons, Clinton E. Webster Jr. (Shirla), and Randy Webster (Cindy), grandchildren, Mahala Martin (Scotty), Sam and Haley Webster, Heath and Alan Spann and Kim Loggins, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

In addition to his parents Mr. Webster was preceded in death by his wife Nina Jo Webster, infant brother, Troy Webster, sisters, Hassie Lee Perry, Ila B. Smith, Mary Lou Tilley, Euna Mae Marshall, Laverne Wilburn, Earnestine Loftice, and Jquan Bull, nephews, Tommy Lawrence and Sammy Wilburn, niece, Glenda Lou Bull.

Funeral services for Mr. Webster will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12:00 noon from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Willodean Evans Cagle, age 93 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Facility in Guin. Mrs. Cagle was born on July 19, 1929 in Marion County to William Rufus and Eunie Bishop Evans. Mrs. Cagle was a lifelong resident of Marion County in the Pea Ridge, Hamilton and Guin areas. Mrs. Cagle was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church, she loved being outdoors, gardening, and visiting with her family and friends.

Mrs. Cagle is survived by her son, Roger Dale Cagle and his wife Lawanda, her grandson, Ryan C. Cagle and his wife Jennifer, a granddaughter, Erica Cagle McKinney and her husband Jonathan, two great granddaughters, Madison and Mackenzi Cagle, her sister, Ruby Hutcherson, brother, John Wayne Evans (Linda), sisters-in-laws, Icie Lee Evans, Lou Nell Cagle, Euldean Allen and Vera Mae Carrao. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Arva Cagle, her parents, sister, Marie Evans, and her brothers, William Olen Evans and Bryce Evans.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cagle will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Center Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sunset Manor, Northwest Alabama Hospice, Northwest Medical Center ER, Doctors and Staff and all her family and friends that came to visit.
