Mr. Bobby Elton Kelley, age 86, of Winfield passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Kelley was born on May 2, 1936 in Bankston, AL to Carlos and Sylvia Gray Kelley. He was a graduate of Bankston High School and later served his country in the United States Navy. Bobby was employed as a machinist with Rockford Products in Rockford IL for more than 20 years. In his spare time Bobby loved to shoot skeet, often competing in tournaments. He also liked woodworking and fishing.
Mr. Kelley is survived by his sons, Jeff Kelley (Sandy) of Loves Park IL, Joe Kelley of Winfield, Ken Kelley (Jennifer) of Rockford IL, and Brian Kelley of Rockford IL, grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffery Jr, Serena, Allison, Ken Jr, Craig, Riley, and Reece, 18 great-grandchildren, a sister, Iva Jewel Eley (Charles) of Birmingham, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Kelley, his parents, brothers, Davis and Dalton Kelley, and a sister, Opal Lancaster.
Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Raymond Roger Heath, age 79, of Crestview, Fl, formerly of Winfield, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 in the North Okaloosa Medical Center. Mr. Heath was born in Winfield, AL on March 19, 1943 to Tommy and Emma Bass Heath. Raymond was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crestview, FL and a 1962 graduate of Hubbertville High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a Vietnam Veteran. Raymond was employed with U.S. Borax Chemical Corporation for 28 years. Raymond was a licensed contractor and loved to build houses and do carpentry work. He was known for being very outgoing.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lina Heath, their son, Cody Heath, his sons, Raymond K. Heath, Keenan Scott Heath, and Sean Thomas Heath, and grandson, Christopher Jacob Heath.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Heath was preceded in death by brothers, Harvey Hyudeen Heath, and Hulus Heath, sister Eulice Guin and nephews, Roger and Bruce Heath.
Funeral services for Mr. Heath will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time at the funeral home.

Barbara Bowen Hodge, age of 78, of Rainbow City, AL, went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022. Barbara was born on November 13, 1944 to AJ & Mary Lou Bowen.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hughes and her husband, Donny, sisters, Beverly Franks (Floyd), Regina Eisner (Larry) and Sheila Harris.
Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Winfield City High School and a member of the Millbrook First United Methodist Church. She worked for and retired from the State of Alabama. Barbara enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and she was always ready to share her home cooked meals. Barbara was very social, having many lifelong friendships. She treasured her family and friends and was always there with a kind word.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Millbrook First United Methodist Church, 3350 Edgewood Rd, Millbrook, AL 36054.
She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Alice Marie Hill, better known as Marie, age 94, of Tuscaloosa formerly of Winfield passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the Crimson Village Assisted Living Facility in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Hill was born on August 19, 1928 in Gattman, MS to Isaiah and Virgie Lockhart Hollis. Marie was a 1946 graduate of Sulligent High School and later attended Massie Business College. She was a member of the Winfield First Methodist Church. Mrs. Hill Spent much of her life employed with the Winfield First Methodist Church as the secretary until her retirement in 2012 after 49 years. She also assisted her husband in earlier years with the bookkeeping for their business, H&W Building Supply in Winfield. Marie was known to others for her sense of humor, often being called a “cut up”. In her spare time Marie loved watching any Alabama sporting event, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughter, Pam Griffin of Tuscaloosa, son, James Michael Hill (Sara) of Killen, grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Zinn (Andrew), Emily Anne Maxwell (Mike), and Mary Kate Hill, great grandchildren, Drew Zinn, Luke Zinn, John Cooper Zinn, Sophie Maxwell, and Samuel Maxwell, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hill, her parents, son-in-law, Tom Griffin, and siblings, Eunice Mitchell, Hazel Wheeler, Florence Williams, Mary Alexander, Carl Hollis, Harold Hollis, and James Allen Hollis.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hill will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Winfield First Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the church.
