Mrs. Linda Kay Vickery Baumgartner, age 66 of Winfield passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her residence. Linda was born on January 3, 1955 in Union County Mississippi to Wayne and Daisey Little Crumpton. Mrs. Baumgartner was a member of Eldridge Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she always enjoyed helping others.

Linda is survived by her husband, Joe Baumgartner, her children, Tim Vickery (Ashley Beavers), Tony Vickery, and Angie Robertson (Wade), stepchildren, Danny Baumgartner (Jennifer) and Dana Black (Shelton), grandchildren, Stephanie, Trace, Brooklyn, Bentley, Macain, Kiley, Alana, Kelsey, Bryant, Saban, Riley, Asher, Hunter, Gracie, Zander, Devon, Skyler, Hali, Austin, Bubba, and a great grandson, Luke, a brother, Curtis Crumpton (Ellen), sisters, Betty Williamson (Edger), Carol Dozier (Steve), and Amanda Altman (Ronnie) and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by a husband, Alon Vickery, parents, Wayne and Daisey Crumpton, sisters, Joyce Cook, Jamie Dixon and Bernice Miller, brothers-in-law, Gary Dixon and Paul Miller, niece, Katrina Crumpton, nephew, Justin Vickery and a stepdaughter, Misty Johnson.

Funeral services for Linda will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Miles Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Rock City. The visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) from the Miles Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Roger Dale Hosch, age 73, of Tuscaloosa (formerly of Winfield) passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Mr. Hosch was born on May 31, 1948, to John and Virginia Hosch.

Mr. Hosch is survived by his brothers, Bobby Hosch (Shirley), Tommy Hosch (Pam), Danny Hosch (Juanna) and Phillip Hosch (Helen), sisters, Katy McDow (Mike), and Judy Hosch, sisters in-law, Vicky Hosch and Evelyn Hosch, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Mr. Hosch was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Abernathy Hosch, and his brothers, J.H., Willie, David, Ricky, and James Dennis Hosch.

A graveside services for Roger will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. from the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Roy Goywda Ballard age 72, of Winfield passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021, in the Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.  Mr. Ballard was born on June 1,1949, to Roy and Dixie Ballard. He was a 1968 graduate of Hubbertville High School. Mr. Ballard was employed as a crane operator in Virginia and Colorado for many years. After moving back to the Winfield area, he was self-employed as a painter for over 30 years.

Mr. Ballard is survived by his daughter, Tracey Mitchell (Robby), a stepson, Joseph Hamm (Fiona) of Belgreen, loving friend and ex-wife, Kathie Ballard of Hamilton, sister, Glenda Self (Jerry) of Hamilton, 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Glenn Ballard and Dixie Harbin Ballard, and a brother Scotty Ballard.

Memorial services for Mr. Ballard will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021at 12:00 noon, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, visitation for Mr. Ballard will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon (service time) at the funeral home.

Mr. Warner Everette Bush, age 80 of Fayette, passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 in the Fayette Long Term Care Center. Warner was born on May 24, 1941 in Tarrant City, Alabama to Reverend William Everette and Essie Lee Bryan Bush.

Warner was a member of the Rehobeth Baptist Church and of the Charles Baskerville Masonic Lodge # 281 in Fayette. He was a United States Army and Navy Veteran. Mr. Bush was a graduate of Ensley High School. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for over 30 years.

Mr. Bush is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Rebekah Dodson Bush, a brother, Glen Morris Bush (Rosalyn) of Birmingham, sisters-in-law, Ida Price of Birmingham, and Ferrell Bush of Clanton, a host of nieces, nephews, church family and other special family and friends. Warner was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. William and Essie Bush, sister, Betty Bush Price Cochran and a brother, Richard Lee Bush.

Funeral service for Mr. Bush will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 3, 2021 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery near Wayside. Brother Richard Parker will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be held on Wednesday November 3rd from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home.
