Mr. Ira “Buddy” Moore, age 83 of Winfield passed away on Tuesday December 7, 2021 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Buddy was born on October 14, 1938 to Woodrow Moore and Ruby Bryant Moore in Guin, AL. Mr. Moore worked for and retired from Drummond Coal Company. After his retirement, he began his own business, Moore Lumber Supply and Trucking Company.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elouise Baccus Moore, son, Donnie Moore (Denena), grandchildren, Eric Moore (Carmen), Amanda Cole (RJ), Valerie Moore, Blaine Hill, and Drake Thompson, and ten great-grandchildren, a sister, Gaynell Towery.
Buddy was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Thompson, a grandson, Blayke Hill, mother, Ruby Moore Irvin, father, Woodrow Moore and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Downey .
Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Brilliant. The visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Marceil McCaleb Tucker, age 96 of the White’s Chapel community passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mrs. Tucker was born on February 2, 1925 to Charlie and Flora McCaleb in Fayette County, AL. She was a member of White’s Chapel Church of Christ and a Hubbertville High School graduate. Mrs. Tucker was an elegant lady, loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. V. “Buck” Tucker and her parents, Charlie McCaleb and Flora Strickland McCaleb. Mrs. Tucker is survived by her children, Roger Tucker (Brenda), Max Tucker (Donna) and Jan Wakefield (Ricky), grandchildren, Leshia Haley (Michael), Heath Tucker, Bradley Tucker (Jamie) and Zac Wakefield (Katie), great grandchildren, Zeb Haley, Makenna, Addison and Lily Tucker, Lyla, Kensie and Karley Shane Wakefield, her sister, Betty Sue Dodd and a brother, Johnnie B. McCaleb.
Funeral serviced for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. from the White’s Chapel Church of Christ with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. service time at the church. James Wyers and Scott Baggett will be the officiating ministers. Mrs. Judy Ann Lawrence age 62 of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Mrs. Lawrence was born on July 10, 1959, to Bobby Joe and Ella Dean Perry. Mrs. Lawrence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she was a member of the South Hamilton Baptist Church, and a 1977 graduate of Hamilton High School.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her husband, Jeff Lawrence, daughter, Shandell Hosch (Jason), grandchildren, Jarett and Haley Hosch, sisters, Teresa Box (Keith) of Hamilton, and Donna Perry of Tuscaloosa, brothers, Wayne Perry (Patsy) of Nauvoo and Bobby Junior Perry (Kristina) of Tuscaloosa, a niece and nephew Paige and Jessie Box, and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Bobby Joe Perry, and Ella Dean Cagle.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (service time).

Mrs. Jeanette Elaine Tucker age 63 of Carbon Hill passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Walk of Faith Ministries Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and women’s devotional co-leader for many years. She was a 1976 graduate of Carbon Hill High School. Jeanette was a talented painter and crafter and worked for many years restoring vintage vehicles. Jeanette and her husband Goldie owned Goldie’s Smokehouse in Eldridge for many years.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary “Goldie” Tucker; son, Daniel Tucker (Estelle); daughter, Rhonda Dover (Zachary); grandchildren, Haley Smith (Houston), Rachel Tucker, Zane Dover, and Zoey Dover; sisters, Pat Cagle, Lisa German (Tony), Wendy Wager (Chris), Lori Gunter (Robert), Donna IPock (Ron), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Mace (Ruth) and Jean Samuels (Charlie), and two brothers, Donald Anthony Mace and Mark Mace.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Thursday December 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the Walk of Faith Ministries Church in Nauvoo, AL with burial to follow in the Tidwell Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery.
