Mrs. Debra “Debbie” Marshall Holt, age 65, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Diversicare Health Care Center in Winfield. Debbie was a 1971 Winfield High School Graduate, and received her LPN Degree from Northwest Community College in Hamilton in 1975. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Martha Roberts Marshall, husband, Wendall Holt, daughter, Christina “Christy” Holt Cagle, son in law, Scott Cagle, father in law, James Bruce Holt, her mother in law, Dorothy “Dot” Holt, and a brother in law, Steven Holt. Debbie is survived by her granddaughter, Cortney Paige Cagle (Jeremy Gober) of Mt. Olive, AL, great grandsons, Jackson Dean Gober and Owen Scott Gober, sisters, Vickie Marshall Bryant (Matthew T.) of Vance, Lynda Marshall Messer of Winfield, and Katrina Lee Miles of GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Debbie will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Brilliant. Mr. Kevin Lee Franks, age 54 of Guin, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Franks, step father, Andre Riley, a sister, Linda Frye, and a nephew, Jeremy Orear. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Franks of Guin, mother, Sara Riley of Winfield, daughters, Tasha Hulsey (Shannon Vickery) of Brilliant, Tamara Bell, Tianna Bell, Tylasha Bell and Tessla Bell all of Guin, 13 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Cassie Humber (Thomas), Annette Riley (John), 3 brothers, Greg Franks, Bobby Steven Franks (Sonya) and Andy Riley (Bobbie). Funeral services for Kevin will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Musgrove Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Junior Lee Huguley, age 75 of Winfield, passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mr. Huguley was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara Olene Weeks Harris, his grandparents, Olen and Fannie Weeks, and a brother, Willie Ray Huguley. He is survived by his sister, Clara Penton Jefferies of Hamilton, aunts, Nell Mayfield of Hubbertville, Martha Legg of Athens and Anna Cantrell of Mobile, niece, April Pfeiffer (Dan) of Woodridge, IL, nephew, Wayne Eskridge (Tasha) of Milwaukee, WI, 2 great nieces, Jenny Pfeiffer and Alisa Eskridge, a great nephew, Jim Pfeiffer, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Wendell "Buster" Stough, age 57, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his residence. Buster was a 1979 graduate of Hubbertville High School, and worked in maintenance at the Winfield Cotton Mill for many years. Buster loved to coon hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke David Stough and Eva Mae Bowles Stough, a sister, Evalyn “Bebe” Stough Lane, an aunt, Dorothy Baker, and an uncle, Theodore Bowles. Buster is survived by, Jane Berryhill of Winfield, his sister, Ava Hill (Robert) of Hubbertville, a son, Joshua Stough of California, aunt, Kay Roby (Rolland) of Eldridge, uncle, Delmer Bowles of Fayette, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Buster will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. The visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (service time).
