Mrs. Mozelle Dodd LivingstonMrs. Mozelle Dodd Livingston, age 89 of Winfield, passed away on Wenesday August 24, 2011 in the Golden Living Center in Winfield. Mrs. Livingston was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Jackson and Drewzella Berry Dodd, husband, Henry C. Livingston, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Toni) Livingston of Lincoln, AL, and Roger (Bobbie) Livingston of Winfield, Grandchildren, Lana Perry, Gloria Herron, Donna Mayfield, and Todd Livingston, Great grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Perry, Amanda Beard, Jason, Gary and Tanner Mayfield, John Todd, Abby, and David Livingston, and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. The staff and caregivers of the Golden Living Center East wing will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Mary Lou May LangstonMrs. Mary Lou May Langston, Age 87 of Winfield, passed away on Saturday evening at her residence at Kemp Meadows. Mrs. Langston is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Linda L. West of Winfield, Mrs. Freddie L. Meherg, of Winfield, and Mrs. Martha L. Allen of Greystone. Memorial Service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, from the Old Union Primative Baptist Church near Wayside with a committal service immediatly following. Brother Tim Meherg and Brother Danny Williams will officiate. Bowen Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Mary Lou May Langston, Daughter of Troy Tessman and Ivus Elizabeth Dodson May, was born on March 10, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mr. Fred Langston, the son of John Asbury and Virginia Belle Dubose Langston. She is survivied by her daughters, Freddie Langston Meherg (Jim), Linda Langston West (Bill), and Martha Langston Allen (John), Grandchildren, Todd Lowry (Zara Edwards Lowry) Tim Meherg (Peggy Prescott Meherg), Daphne West Stanford (Steve Standford), Lisa Meherg Burgess (Wade Burgess), Lori Meherg Jenkins (Mike Jenkins), and Kate Allen, gerat grandchildren, Erica Burgess Michel (Anthony Michel), Andrew Lowry, Mason Meherg (Hope Eads Meherg), McKinly Meherg, ALex Lowry, Mary Beth Burgess, Kent Jwnkins, Luke Jenkins, Zoe Lowry and Major Meherg, Great Great Grandchild Aaron Meherg, special nephew, Mike (Sheila) Adams, special Niece, Ann James. Special great nephew, Kevin (Paula) Adams and baby Chaney Adams, close relatives, Christopher, William, and Bethany Adams, and Jerry, Gary, Bill, and Don (Judy) May, a host of other relatives and friends, and special friends and caregivers, Connie Dodd, Administration and staff of Kemp Meadows ALC, Patty Palmer, Kim Adams, Jeanette Robertson, and Autumn Loring.

Mrs. Lisa Carol SayreMrs. Lisa Carol Sayre, Age 50, of Decatur, Texas, formerly of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence in Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister Kimberly Renee Tittle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 14, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Cemetery near Pea Ridge, AL. Bro. William "Widdy" Atkins will be the officiating minister. Sims, age 60 of Winfield, passed away on July 18, 2011, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfiled. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sims Jr. Ms. Sims is survived by her mother, Geraldine Sims of Winfield, a sister Jean McNeal of Winfield,  brothers, Kelley Sims of Winfield, and Richard Sims of Moline, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A memorial Service is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday July 22, from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with committal services to follow in Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery near Vina, AL. Randall Tice will be the officiating minister.
