Mrs. Theresa Clark Weeks, age 54 of Hamilton, passed away on December 31, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Harkins Clark and her Husband Michael P. Weeks Sr. She is survived by her father, William Clark, her children, Amber Rose Weeks, Shianne Bambinelli (Zac), and Michael P. Weeks Jr., a granddaughter, Catherine Rose Weeks, and 2 brothers, Edward and William Clark. A memorial service for Mrs. Weeks will be announced at at later date.
Mrs. Mary Nell Caudle Rawls, age 95 of Brilliant, passed away on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at Sunset Manor Healthcare Facility in Guin. Mrs. Rawls was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Dickinson and James H. Rawls, her parents, Alvin Caudle and Mary Frances Ingle Caudle, her sisters, Irene Norris and Willette McGuire, and a brother, Keller Caudle. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Frazier (Buddy) of Brilliant, 8 sons, Russell Dickinson (Doris) of Virginia, James Harold Rawls of Brilliant, Charles Rawls (Barbara) of Brilliant, Jerry Rawls (Regina) of North Carolina, Randall Rawls (Darius) of Brilliant, Terry Rawls (Carol) of Winfield, Leland Rawls (Joan) of Fayette, and William H. Rawls of Brilliant, 27 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Marie Gordan of Texas, and Fay Dodd of Brilliant, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 from the Bethel Church of Christ with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Steve Tidwell will officiate. The visitation will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and lie in state on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.(service time) at Bethel Church of Christ. Mrs. Imogene Gann Manthe, age 80, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Sunset Manor Healthcare Facility in Guin. Mrs. Manthe was a graduate of Winfield City High School and a member of the Winfield Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Olen Edward Gann and Bertha Tesney Gann, and her husband, Dale Manthe. Mrs. Manthe is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, church family, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Bro. Danny Williams will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. (service time) on Friday at the funeral home. Mr. John Dennis Sexton, age 68, of Panama City, FL, fomerly of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. Dennis was a 1966 graduate of Winfield High School and the biggest University of Alabama fan on the planet. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Grady and Lettie Lynn Sexton, a brother, Robert "Sonny Boy" Sexton, and a niece, Peggy Sandlin. He is survived by his daughters, LaFarrah Sexton Weeks, (Jay Cale) and Angelica Sexton and her fiance' Scott Miller, all of Panama City, grandchildren, Brendan and Kayla Weeks, other immediate family, Jena Woodham and Elliott Woodham, nieces, Margene Butler (Tony) and Susan Sexton Harris of Winfield, and his two favorite cats, Anna and Polly, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December, 27th from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Wednesday in the Winfield City Cemetery.
