Mr. Randal "Ranny" Dodd, age 71 of Winfield, passed away Monday evening, October 10, 2011 at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services for Mr. Dodd will held on Wednesday at an undisclosed time.

Mrs. Linda Gail Lee Hussain, age 65, of the Brilliant and Haleyville communities, passed away on Saturday Oct. 8, 2011 at the Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville. She was the Daughter of Horace Jackson Lee and Opalene Jack Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents and a baby sister, Joyce Ann Lee. Survivors include her son, John Omar Hussain from Orange Co. California, brother, Jerry Lee, sisters, Bonnie Markham and Shirley (Jimmy) Smith, all From Winfield, and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Boartush Cemetery in Haleyville. Bowen Funeral Home Directing.

Mr. Paul James Mcguire, better known as Jim, age 66 of Brilliant passed away on Sunday morning at the U.A.B. Medical center in Birmingham. Jim was a member of Goldmine Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley C. McGuire, and a brother Bradley C. McGuire Jr. He is survived by his mother, Willette McGuire of Brilliant, Son, David McGuire of Brookside, Brothers, Richard McGuire of Brilliant and Pete (Elaine) McGuire of Amirillo TX, a sister Ann Davis of Brilliant and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Annie D. Hunt, age 96 of Winfield, passed away Tuesday night in the Golden Living Center in Winfield. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her huband Kenneth C. Hunt, a daughter Nancy Ann Hunt, 2 sisters Ida Cook, and Buena Glidewell, and 2 brothers Hub Dotson, and Rob Dotson. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Hunt Segraves of Winfield, Grandchildren, Amy Little, Brent Segraves, and Chris Segraves, great grandchildren, Zack Little, Hanna Little, Kortney Segraves, Dylan Segraves, Brinlee Segraves, and Will Barnes. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 30, at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with Burial to follow in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper. Brother Tim Meherg officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m service time on Friday at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield directing.
