Mr. Junior Victor "Buck" Tucker, age 94, of the White's Chapel community, passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at his residence. Buck was a lifelong resident of the White's Chapel community, a member of the White's Chapel Church of Christ, a graduate of Hubbertville High School, and  a United States WWII Navy Veteran. 

He loved to garden and loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Lillie Tucker. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 73 years Marceil Tucker, his daughter, Jan (Ricky) Wakefield, sons, Roger (Brenda) Tucker and Max (Donna) Tucker, grandchildren, Leshia (Michael) Haley, Heath Tucker, Bradley (Jamie) Tucker, and Zac (Katie) Wakefield, great grandchildren, Zeb Haley, MaKenna, Addison, and Lily Tucker, Lyla and Kensie Wakefield, a sister, Jeanette (Jim) Herren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec 18, 2016 form the White's Chapel Church of Christ with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Larry Alexander will officiate. The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. (service time) on Sunday at the Church. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Tucker family.
