Mrs. Frankie Lee White Wyers, age 98 of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mrs. Wyers was born in Starkville, MS on April 24, 1920 and grew up in Fayette County, until she and her family moved to Winfield in 1954. Mrs. Wyers was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ, and an active member of the Caregivers Ladies Ministry with the church, and a former member of Sweet Adeline’s of Marion County. “Mom”, as most of her family affectionately called her, loved hummingbirds, playing dominoes, collecting shoe figurines, but most of all, she loved Spending time with her family. Mrs. Wyers was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Franklin White and Emma Elizabeth Sparks White, her husband, James Marshall Wyers, sisters, Myrl White Beasley and Nita White Black, brothers, Rudolph and Thomas L. White, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Wyers. She is survived by her sons, James Franklin Wyers (Loretta) and Sammy Jackson Wyers (Debi), her grandchildren, Marsha Wyers Farris (Daryl), Lana Carol Wyers, Adam Jackson Wyers (Sandy), Paul Thomas Wyers (Nicole), David Marshall Wyers (Deana), her great grandchildren, John Zachary Farris, Jacob Marshall Farris, Ellie Catherine Wyers, Bonds Andrew Wyers, Michaela Brittlynn Hodges, Hannah Grace Palmer, Brayden Jackson Wyers, Tripp Reece Wyers, Sam Henry Wyers, a brother, J.C. White (Jewel), sisters in law, Edith White and Bobbie Still, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 6, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. from the Winfield Church of Christ. A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (service time) on Monday at the church. James Wyers, Tony Brown and Harrison Moran will be the officiating ministers. Burial will follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Wyers family.
