Mr. Timothy Davis Eller, age 55, of Guin passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Grandview Medical Center. Tim was born on August 21, 1970 in Rockford, Illinois to Gale Nix Eller. He was a 1988 graduate of Marion County High School, where he met the love of his life, Tara Atkins. Tim was 17 and Tara 13 years old, their bond grew into a lifelong love, and together they shared almost 25 years of marriage. A devoted husband, loving father and Pawpaw, Tim cherished his family above all else. He and Tara attended Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church for many years, and in his final days at the hospital, Tim found peace when he was saved. Tim had a passion for carpentry and was the owner of Total Home Care for more than 25 years, where he became known for his hard work and skill. A true jack of all trades, and master of most, he never asked for help but was always the first to lend a hand to others. When he wasn’t working, Tim loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed riding ATV’s, gardening, fishing with his children, traveling to the beach, and restoring antique cars. Tim was a strong resilient man making him a role model to many throughout the years and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tim is survived by his wife, Tara Atkins Eller, his children, Michael Howard (Perry), Chris Eller (Taylor) and Kara Cantrell (Dylan), his grandchildren, Bryleigh, Mason, Bayleigh, Owen, Chloe, Sammy, Paisleigh, Bently, and Easton Eller, and soon to arrive in February, Athena Lynn Cantrell, his mother, Gale Eller, siblings, Leilani Morel, Rick Eller, and Tammie Buhr, parents-in-law, Allen and Kathy Atkins, brother-in-law, Heath Atkins (Amanda), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel and Annie Nix.

Funeral services for Tim will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time.
