Mr. Roy Walter Harding Jr. better known as R.W., age 70 of Winfield, Passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Harding was born on December 21, 1954 in Ft. Benning, GA to Roy Walter Sr. and Dolores Glenn Harding. He was a member of the Glen Allen Methodist Church and attended Turn Around and New Life with his mother. R.W. joined the United States Navy in 1972, he served his country for 8 years and through 2 tours during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Harding enjoyed spending his free time riding motorcycles, taking his grandchildren swimming, attending Indian pow-wows, and collecting antiques.

Mr. Harding is survived by his children, Raymond Scott Harding (Adrianna), and Mandy Katrina Harding, his mother, Dolores Elliott, grandchildren, Kenzey Marie, Areanna Gabriel, Aliya Jaylynn, Taigen Cooper, and Nicholas Russell Harding, and Nathan Brandon and Alexus Grace Warren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mr. Harding was preceded in death by his father Roy Harding Sr., brothers, William Joseph, Steven Ray, and Russell Gene Harding, and his grandparents, William Andrew and Geneva Tabitha Harding, and Fulton Joseph and Dorie Jane Glenn.

Funeral services for Mr. Harding will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Glen Allen Methodist Church. The visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
