Mr. John Wallace Robertson, age 87, of Lexington, formerly of Winfield, passed away July 6, 2018 at his residence in Lexington, AL. Mr. Robertson was a minister of the Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Navy. He is survivors by his wife, Barbara Collier Killen Robertson, daughters, Leisa Robertson Williams (Don), Carla Robertson Milligan (Jim), step-daughters, Sharon Killen Robinson (Eddy), Charlotte Killen McDonald (Jimmy), sister, Wilma Dean Meeks, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great grandchildren. Mr. Robertson is preceded in death by wife, Tommie Musgrove Robertson, parents, Osa and Myrtle Robertson, brother, James Robertson, sister, Katherine Riemke, step-grandchildren, Melinda Killen, Larry Killen, Sr. Funeral service will be Monday, July 9, at 10:00 am at the Center Hill Church of Christ with Don Williams, Jim Milligan and Greg Dial officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at the church.  Burial will be in Winfield City Cemetery in Winfield, AL.

Robert Bryce “Rob” Sandlin, age 43, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his residence. Rob was a 1993 Winfield City High School graduate. He is survived by his wife, Amy Smith Sandlin, stepchildren, Cameron & Andrew Taylor, Santana Reeves (Daryl), step grandchildren, Oakley, Jaxon, Hadley Jo, Drake, Rhett and, Makenna, sisters, Melissa (Alan) Stovall, Kim Aldridge (Scott), mother in law, Patty Gann (Jerry), father in law, Ted Smith (Mary), brother in law, Alan Smith (Tonya) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Rob is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Scott & Peggy Sexton Sandlin, grandparents Robert & Lucille Sexton, Louie Bryce Sandlin and Evelyn Tidwell Sandlin.  Funeral services for Rob will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery.    Brett Burleson and Jerry Gann will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.  Bowen Funeral Home serving the Sandlin family.

Mrs. Rosa Emma Jeffreys Melton, age 82, of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mrs. Melton is survived by her daughter, Debra Carter of Hamilton and son, Russell (Cynthia) Melton of Winfield, eight grandchildren, Paul Voraphongphibul, Suzanne Jacobs, Jerrikka Kruse, Derek McReynolds, Garrett Melton, Jeffery Carter, Gracie Carter, Connor Melton, 11 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rosa is preceded in death by her husband L. W. Melton, parents, James Delmar Jeffreys and Lillie Jeffreys Lindsey, brother, Calvin Jeffreys and a daughter in law, June Melton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Center Cemetery. Greg Lowery will be the officiating minister. Ms. Wanda Faye Tidwell, age 69, of Guin, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Sheffield. Wanda is survived by her children, Tina Tidwell Harville (Chuck) of Sheffield, Timmy Tidwell and Shane Tidwell both of Guin, six grandchildren, Brandy Kilgore Gwin (Jeremy), Ethan Kilgore (Katelan), Jayden Woods, Ashton Tidwell, Preston Tidwell, Braxton Tidwell, two great grandchildren, Dawson Frost and Justice Frost, two sisters, Retha Johnson of Cullman and Linda Burnett of Russellville, two brothers, Junior Stidham of Bear Creek and James Stidham of Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Ann Holland Stidham, five sisters and one brother. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time). Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p. m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
