Mrs. Bobbie Sue McDonald Miles, age 86 of the Wayside Community, passed away Wednesday October 10, 2018 at her residence. Bobbie was a member of the Wayside Methodist Church and a Poll Clerk for the Webster Precinct in Wayside for over 20 years. Mrs. Miles enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, mowing and pruning her flowers, and growing vegetables to share with her family and friends. She enjoyed fellowship and Sunday meals after church with her family and friends. Mrs. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Edward” Miles, her parents, Bill and Ozie McCluskey McDonald and a brother in law, Maurice Langston. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Miles Dozier (Garry) and Elizabeth “Liz” Miles Lenahan, grandchildren, Michelle Dozier Hollis (Ron Norris), Raven Dozier Perry (Nathaniel) and Chase Lenahan, great grandchildren, Meagan and Neal Hollis and Drake Perry, sister, Myra McDonald Langston, niece, Candice Langston (Felix vonUklanski), great niece and nephew, Tristan and Ava, and special friend, James Sizemore, special  friend and hospice nurse, Darlene Hines and all the wonderful nurses and staff at Alacare Hospice in Hamilton. Mr. Harry Marion Tomlin, age 83, of Winfield, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Tomlin was a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Fifi Nell Bostick Tomlin, son Mike Tomlin (Karla), grandsons, Michael Tomlin and Rusty Moore, great granddaughter, Madalyn Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion Tomlin and Lillie Guthrie Tomlin. Funeral service for Mr. Tomlin will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Baby Avery Faye Price, infant daughter of Angie Box and Jacob Price, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Children's Hospital in Birmingham. Baby Avery is survived by her parents, Angie Box of Adger and Jacob Price of Winfield, grandparents, Tracy Box of Brilliant, Miranda Shirley of Winfield, and Jason Price of Winfield, great grandparents, Faye Nell Box and Becil Box of Winfield, Sunny Shirley of Winfield, and Tina Davis of Lynn, aunts, Courtney Webb (Alex Owens), Hallie McCluskey, Autum Shirley, Kailey Abbott and Kayla Box, uncle, Brian Box, great aunts, Kerri Hosch (Bradley)and Terry Faught. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Keith Brian Box, great grandmother, Faye Neuheisel, great great grandparents, Janice Shirley, Victory & Christine Bryan and Claude & Gladys Box. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bowen Funeral Home. James Richard Terry, age 67, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 in the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.  Mr. Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith Terry and his son, Justin Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Mary Mae Terry. A graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday October 11, 2018 from the Kelly Cemetery in Eldridge.
