Mr. John David Coker, age 55, of Winfield passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. John was born in Miami, Florida on November 6, 1969 to Guy Coker and Joann Wood Lott. He was a member of Grace Life Church and a 1987 graduate of Winfield High School. John was employed with Bolzoni Auramo in Sulligent as a machinist. In his spare time John enjoyed working on cars, watching Alabama Football, listening to music, taking care of his animals, and especially spending time with his grandson. John possessed an extraordinary love for life, family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Denise Coker, mother, JoAnn Lott, stepdaughter, Ashley Crosby (Tyler), grandson, Tyson Crosby, fur babies, Mi’cah and Mittens, and a host of other family members and friends.

John was preceded in death by his stepfather, Donnie Lott, and his best friend, Phil Haynes.

Funeral services for John will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Virgie Lee McDonald Housh, age 99 of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Housh was born in Wayside, Alabama on March 3, 1925 to Leonard C. and Ellena Blakney McDonald. Mrs. Housh was a member of the Winfield Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Mitchell Housh, a son, Donald F. Housh (Jan), her brothers, Curtis, Thermon, Edward, Hugho, and L.C. McDonald, her sisters, Betty June McPhail, Edna Grace Atkinson, Ellena Sue Howell, Maelene Dickinson, and Mavis Wheeler. Mrs. Housh is survived by her daughters, Linda Housh of Winfield, and Rhetta Carter (William) of Northport, her grandchildren, Delaina Harrison (Jeff) of Winfield, Donald F. Housh II (Lisa) of Michigan, Brian Carter (Allison) of Huntsville, Lauren Taylor (Michael) of Birmingham, Ben Housh, and Shanna Graves (J.T.) of Birmingham, great grandchildren, Garrett Harrison (Kirsten), Emma Trull (Korlan), Melody Harrison, Taylor Lesandrini (Patrick), Sydney Housh, Kate Taylor, Eli Taylor, Aiden Graves, and Declan Graves, a sister, Gaynell Dunavant of Winfield, a special daughter in law, Wynell Norris (Buddy) of Winfield, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Housh will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13th from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Camp Comfort (Housh Chapel) Cemetery near Fayette. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Mrs. Audra Lee Addison Harbin, age 82, of Winfield, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Harbin was born on May 25, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, during WWII, to Quinton Addison and Ruth Norris Addison. They moved back to Alabama around 1945. She attended Brilliant, Corner, and Winfield High Schools; she was a graduate of Winfield High Class of 1960. During and after high school she worked with Dr. Couch as a lab technician, she later worked for almost 30 years in the garment manufacturing industry, most of that time being spent with Health-Tex in Guin, AL. Audra was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ. She was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend as described in Proverbs 31. Audra enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, and camping at Bear Creek. She truly cared for the welfare and souls of people in the area.

Mrs. Harbin is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Harbin, son, Dr. Steve Harbin (Sandy) of Decatur, daughter, Kanda Calvert (John) of Florence, grandchildren, John Michael Harbin (Macie), Reed Harbin, Clint Harbin, Anna Harbin, and John David Calvert, siblings Shelby Allison, Gary Addison, and JoAnn Hollingsworth (Billy), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Mrs. Harbin was preceded in death by her son, Michael, her parents, and her grandfather Joe Addison.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harbin will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Winfield Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Goldmine Church of Christ Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the church.

Mrs. Linda Jeanette Berryhill, age 90, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Berryhill was born in Glen Allen, Alabama to James and Lucille Hughes Stewart. Jeanette was a member of the Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Hubbertville High School and later attended Montevallo University. Jeanette retired from Vulcan Materials in Birmingham, Alabama. In her spare time Jeanette enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Berryhill is survived by 2 great nephews, Brad and Chase Stockman, longtime friend and caretaker, Linda Torrence, beloved dog Lady, and a host of cousins and other family members.
Mrs. Berryhill was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucille Stewart, sister, Faye S. Perry, niece, Jan Stockman, and husband, Stanley Wayne Berryhill.
Funeral services for Mrs. Berryhill will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 12:00 noon from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Glen Allen Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon service time at the funeral home.
