Adam Joseph Silva, age 21, of Winfield, formerly of Arizona, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Adam was born on November 28, 2003 in Pheonix, Arizona to Tomas and Angela Olivarez Silva. A graduate of Primavera High School, Adam later moved to Alabama with his family, where he worked as a technician at Nelson Boyz Paint and Body Shop in Winfield where he quickly became a valued member of the team. Adam was a quiet, kind-hearted soul whose golden heart and compassionate nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. His bond with his brother-in-law and best friend, Sean, was unbreakable, and the two were often inseparable. In his free time Adam enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and attending concerts. His ever-present smile was a reflection of his warm and gentle spirit that left an impression on everyone.
Adam is survived by his parents, Tomas and Angela Silva, brother, Tomas Silva III (Rachel), sister, Abigail Miller, twin sister, Alison Silva, brother, Eli Silva, his grandparents, Susie Aguirre and Ray Aguirre, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Funeral services for Adam will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. The visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Emma Dean Warren, age 90 of Winfield, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 in the Diversicare Nursing Facility. Mrs. Warren was born in Marion County, Alabama on September 24, 1934 to Olan and Eunice Aldridge Harbin. She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. She worked many years as a seamstress with Clifford Industries until her retirement in the late 1990’s. After retiring, she dedicated her time to helping raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also known for helping raise many children in her community. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family, cooking delicious meals, solving word search puzzles, singing, and hosting gatherings.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her children, Joe Warren, Shelia Morrison, Roger Warren, and Jan Neal, grandchildren, Paige Morrison (Tim Whitehead), Josh Coats (Kacie), Leslie Cobb (Robert), Emily Cooper (Anthony Frost), Daniel Warren (Tiffany), Maranda Yaden (Zeb), and Seaira Lake (Jeff), 16 great grandchildren, siblings, Morris Harbin (Susan), Harold Harbin (Marcia), Shirley Suddeth, Sharon Hensley (Wayne), Jerry Harbin (Jewel), Alan Harbin (Stephanie), Linda Hopkins, and JD Harbin (Kathy), and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Hollie T. Warren Jr., daughter, Glenda Yaden, grandson, Jeremiah Warren, her 2nd mother, Minnie Bell Harbin, and siblings, W.L., Bobby Earl, Quin, and Billy Gene Harbin, and Joyce McLemore.
Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Grigg’s Place Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Nettie Murel Webb, age 85, of Winfield passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 in the North Mississippi Medical Center. Born December 7, 1939 to Hardeman and Verla Langston Benton, Murel grew up in Winfield where she later graduated from Winfield City High School in the Class of 1958. She attended Oasis Church in Winfield, AL. Murel worked until 1995 with her husband Buddy as the secretary for their family-owned business, Rock City Coal and Equipment. After her professional years, she embraced her role as a homemaker caring for her husband and family. In earlier years, Murel loved traveling with her husband Buddy, she also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and tracing her family’s ancestry through genealogy. Above all, she cherished being at home, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her children, Bruce Webb (Denise) and Tina Rushing, her grandchildren, Courtney Webb Bradford (John), Lacie Webb Pennington (Colin), and Alaina Rushing, great grandchildren, Eleanora Pennington and Julia Bradford, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband Buddy Webb, and siblings, Norman Benton, Eloise Fowler, Edra Reese, Annie Smith, Faye Neavor, an infant brother, Hezzie Benton, niece, Teresa Smith, and nephews, Roy Colburn and Stacy Reese.
Funeral services for Mrs. Webb will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Grigg’s Place Cemetery. Mrs. Webb will lie in state on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time. The visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Patricia Fayth Reese, age 88, of Winfield, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in the North Mississippi Health Services South Marion Hospital in Winfield. Born on January 21, 1937, in Brilliant, Alabama, Patricia was the daughter of John and Nancy Pridmore Bowling. She was a faithful member of Bethel Apostolic Church, where she devoted much of her time to the congregation she loved. Her active participation made her a cherished member. Patricia spent most of her life working in local garment plants as a seamstress where she continued to work until well into her 70’s. Outside of work, she was known for her many talents, including quilting, cooking, and sharing her love with her family. Her grandchildren, and her little dog Bo, were the cornerstones of her life.
Mrs. Reese is survived by her daughters, Sharon Reese, Macey Moore (Mark), and Sheila Davis, her grandchildren, Nathan Foster (Janna), Stacey Foster, Amanda Bishop (Rogar), Heather Lovell (Thomas), and Gracie Moore, great grandchildren, Ruble Lane, Trenton, and Brinley Foster, Noah, Anniston, Laci, T.J., and Henry Bishop, and Maisie Lovell, sisters, Mable Hanson and Ann Godfrey, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Reese, her parents, and siblings, Veva Linley, Robert Bowling, John Bowling, Maimie Bowling, Mary Nell McDonald, Martha Wolfe, and 3 infant siblings.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reese will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
