Christopher Lindsey “Chris” Collier, age 47 of Winfield, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. Chris was a 1990 graduate of Winfield City High School. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Terri Long Collier, three daughters, Cambria Collier of Winfield, Chelsea Thrasher (Josh) of Kennedy, and Cheyenne Payne (Wesley) of Guin, a granddaughter, Georgia Thrasher, grandmother, Johnnie Lindsey of Winfield, his father, Jimmy Collier of Jasper, uncles, Robin H. Lindsey of Winfield, Lyndal “Lyn” M. Lindsey (Courtney) of Winfield, Henry Hank Lindsey III (Debbie) of Pell City, Charles Collier (Sharon) of Collierville, TN, sister, Katherine Cunningham (Earl) of Vernon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Lindsey Collier, his grandfather, Henry H. Lindsey, Sr., and his grandparents, Cullen and Edna Collier. Funeral services for Chris will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from the Winfield First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery near Hamilton. Barbara Faye Boyette Hendrix, age 70, of Winfield, passed away, Monday, April 1, 2019 in the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Barbara was born in Augusta, GA to Earl Boyette and Annie Cliatt Boyette on November 25, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patsy Boyette Hendrix. Barbara is survived by her children, Mechele Whitfield (Shane) of Hamilton, Allen Hendrix of Twin and Robert Hendrix (Daphne) of Winfield, grandchildren, Kane and Isabela Hendrix, Holly Hobbs (Ben) and Justin Hendrix, sisters, Charlotte Overton (Buddy) of Brilliant and Janice Harden (Merv) of Augusta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends. Sheree was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Roberts, and her parents, Houston T. Dozier and Ollie Lee Pennington Dozier.
