Mrs. Gladys Helen Hubbert, age 90 of Winfield, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Mrs. Hubbert was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Hubbert, and a son, Jim Hubbert. Survivors include her son, Roger (Pat) Hubbert of Winfield, Grandchildren, Dale (Cindy) Hubbert of Priceville, Rogena (Keith) Dillard of Winfield, Teresa (Greg) Colburn of Fayette, Ronnie Hubbert of Pickinsville, Mike (Cindy) Hubbert of Fayette, 12 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel. James Wyers and Dale Hubbert officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, in West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. On November 16, 2011, the Lord enfolded Mrs. Mary Erdeal Vickery Bryant, age 94 of Winfield, into His loving arms and into her Heavenly home; to be reunited with her parents Ed and Mittie Erwin Vickery, her husband, James Edward "Jack" Bryant, a son James Wayne Bryant, sons-in-law, Charles Ganey and Mike Peoples, and eleven siblings. She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life, daughters, Betty (Maurice) Herrold of Winfield, Bonnie Ganey of Brilliant, Mary Jo Dwyer of Guin, Patricia Peoples of Fulton, MS and Jacqueline Bryant of Brilliant, grandchildren, Janet Weaver, Anita Grevins, Kenneth (April) Berryhill, Pete (Joyce) Ganey, Tim (Shirl) Ganey, Stephanie Jo Dwyer, Niel Buck, Ashley Green and Adam (Brandy) Green, and a host of great, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, from Bowen Funreal Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Mildred Faye Vickery, age 81 of Winfield, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011, at DCH medical center in Fayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clyde and Martha Casey Holliman, and her husband Leonard H. Vickery. Mrs. Vickery is survived by her daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Ward (Dewey), sons, James Vickery (Pat), and Harold Vickery (Fronda), all of Winfield, grandchildren, Chris Ward, Alicia Ward, Eric Vickery, Adrian Pope, Jessica Lothrop, Stephanie Vickery, and Shannon Vickery, 5 great grandchildren, and a sister, Hazel Smith. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2011, from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow inthe Winfield City Cemetery. Mrs. Annie Mae Jones, age 94 of Guin, passed away early Wednesday morning, Nov. 2, 2011, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Facility in Guin. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church near Pea Ridge for many years. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Plumer C. Jones, a son, Robert Clay Jones, her parents, Virgil R. and Ola B. Tidwell, a brother, Paul Tidwell, and sisters, Rhoda Lee Boat, and Etta Self. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Roy) Crow of Guin, Granddaughters, Janet Crow of Guin, and Vanda (Julian) Blaxton of Haleyville, grandsons, Bentley (Angie) Crow of Guin, Bob (Nelda) Jones of Winfield, and Doug Jones of Haleyville, sisters, Imogene Dodds of Booneville, MS and Vina Estes of Seminole, OK, numerous great, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in Center Cemetery. Rev. Widdy Atkins and Rev. Bobby Duncan will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
