Mrs. Nancy Ann Barkley age 77, of Kansas, AL passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Barkley was born in Phillips County Arkansas on December 4, 1944 to JB and Amelia Weimiller Clark. Mrs. Barkley was a 1962 graduate of Barton High School in Barton, AR, and later attended Memphis State University where she received a degree in computer science. Mrs. Barkley was a member of the Glen Allen Church of Christ and spent much of her life employed with the Dover Corporation. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed cooking, cross stitching, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Barkley is survived by her husband of 49 years, George “Bill” Barkley, children, Glen Barkley (Lori) of Oxford, MS, Catherine Mathis (Tommy) of Corinth, MS, Amanda Renfrow (Randy) of Blue Mountain, MS, Rebecca Hughes of Kansas, AL, and Diana West of Fulton, MS., grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Katie Jo, Jordan, William, Caroline, Karlie, Matthew, Ryder, George, Amelia, Dawson, Drake, and Lexie, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 one more on the way, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Barkley was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Charlotte Barkley, and siblings, Charles, and Catherine Clark.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barkley will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sprinkle Cemetery near the White’s Chapel Community. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
