Jerri Consuelo Lucas, age 49 of Winfield, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021. She was born on February 10, 1972, 3 weeks after the passing of her father. Consuelo was the daughter of Jerry MacArthur Lucas and Gladys Dillard Lucas. She was a 1992 graduate of Hamilton High School and lived in Marion County her entire life.  She was employed with Sitel as a call center representative. She loved her work and flourished at it, she loved talking to people and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend and her family. She loved cooking, taking care of her kitty, being on the water, and music.

She is survived by the man she loved, Jeff Hughes, children, David, Jay and Annagrace Spiller, her mother and stepfather, Gladys and Wayne Irvin, sisters, Phyllis Frye (Scott), Debra Perry (Barry) and Tracy Cordova (Gama), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. 

Jerri was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lucas, a stepfather, Lee Wilson, stepbrother Rodney Crowe, grandparents Arthur Lee and Shalar Lucas and Clyde and Willie Dillard.

Funeral services for Consuelo will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery near Detroit. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Lucas family.
