Mr. Buddy Webb, age 80 of Winfield passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 in the Walker Rehabilitation Center in Carbon Hill.
Buddy was born on March 16, 1940 to Coley and Essie Webb in Eldridge, AL and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In Buddy’s younger years he enjoyed the Rodeo and worked as a Rodeo Clown for several years, he also worked as a brick mason and with Continental Conveyor Equipment Co. Buddy loved his family and spending time with each of them, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Webb is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Webb and Sherry Odom, son, Gregory Webb, granddaughters, Shae Holcomb (Anthony), and Ashley Cain (Josh), grandsons, Nick Uptian (Lee), Jamie Webb (Danyel), Zach Odom (Chassity), and Jagger Odom (Michelle), great-grandchildren, Chandler, Katlyn, Carson, J.R., Jayde, Cadien, Taylen, Trysten, Tinsley, Nylah, Novah, Raeleigh, Gideon, Hoyt, Asher, Rheanna, Kendall, Maxon, and Atlas, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coley and Essie Aldridge Webb, brothers, Holly Webb, J. C. Webb, and Willard Webb, and sisters, Lucille Burks, Myrl Matthews, and Etta Aldridge.
The family of Mr. Webb would like to thank the staff of Walker Rehabilitation Center and Comfort Care Hospice for the care that has been given to him during this time of need, and a special thank you to, Denise, Jennifer, Jane, Bridgette, and Jon for the love and care that was shown to him and to the family.
Funeral services for Mr. Webb will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Carbon Hill. The visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Webb family.
