Mrs. Ruth Mary Ann Norris Addison passed from this life on May 4, 2021 at the age of 99 years, 2 months and 28 days. She was born to Charlie Newton Norris and Adeline McDonald Norris on February 6, 1922.

Ruth met the love of her life, Quinton Addison, at Sunny Home School and they were married on January 8, 1939. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, seamstress, factory worker, but most of all, a Christian lady.

Many thanks to her wonderful sitters and friends, Cindy Raburn and Linda Spann.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Quinton Addison, her parents, a grandchild, Michael Bolton, a great grandchild, Amber Allison, 3 sisters, Stella Tucker, Texana Key, and Merney Hamric, 1 brother, Cleo Norris, and a son-in-law, W. T. Allison.

Ruth was a seamstress, quilter, and homemaker like no other. Many people have told us of her acts of kindness. She made approximately 65 quilts in the 5 years after Quinton passed away. She never met anyone that she did not try to share the Lord with, wanting everyone to go to heaven. We are very thankful for her Christian life and the great example she set to everyone. A more modest person has never been met.
