Mrs. Virginia Tawanna Tucker, age 72 of the Hubbertville community passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her son’s residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Fayette County, Alabama on February 21, 1949 to Buck and Ruby Reed Tucker. Virginia was a member of the Berea Church of Christ and attended Hubbertville High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ruby Tucker, her husband of 46 years, Dewey Tucker, a brother, Dennis Tucker, and a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Tucker. She is survived by her three sons, Eddy (Nikki) Tucker of Brilliant, Danny (Ashley) of Jasper, and Webster (Candice) Tucker of Cordova, grandchildren, Kaiti (Scott) Akers, Makenzie (Zev) Finch, Jerry (Kimberly) Tucker, Andrew (Kourtney) Tucker, Austin (Seirra) Tucker, Abby Tucker, Blake Tucker, Dalton Tucker, Cassidi Davidson, Makenzi South and her greatgrandchildren, Braden, Brody and Bryleigh Tucker , Adam and Lilly Vice, Bentley Akers, Jaymee Posey, Heidi, Charlotte and Sophia Tucker, a sister, Ramona Roby Tucker, and brother, Wayne Tucker and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Berea Church of Christ Cemetery. Brother Jerry Key and Brother Tony German will be the officiating ministers. The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
