Mr. Richard Bert Guin better known as R.B. age 76 of the Twin Community passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

R.B. was born in Fayette County on November 25, 1944 to Coy and Eulice Guin. He was a member of the Bethlehem FWB Church in Pea Ridge. R.B. was a 1964 graduate of Brilliant High School. He was known for his PawPaw’s Wrecker Service, “The” MacGyver of all things, a HOT ROD, but most of all for being a good Christian man. R.B. enjoyed life! Adored his family, loved being outdoors and never wasted a moment of daylight, no matter how many times he was called for supper and loved to eat a good LONG meal. He never met a stranger, and was always prepared for any RISKY adventure while enjoying his Cheetos and Mtn. Dew’s.

R.B. was preceded in death by a daughter, Delena Guin Benton, a granddaughter, Johnna Gibbs, his parents, Coy and Eulice Heath Guin, in-laws, Daniel L. and Mildred Rye Brown, brothers-in-law, Roger Brown and Randall Brown. He is survived by the love of his life for 53 years, Elizabeth Brown Guin, daughters, Shandra Gibbs (Jamie), Leanda Smith (Andy) and his sidekick, Berk, grandchildren, Sage Brasher (Charity), Blade Brasher (Kaylin), Morgan Jenkins (Luke), Payton Roberts (Micah), Steven Smith, Dixie Benton (Thomas) and Kaleigh Smith, great grandchildren, Dalleigh Jane Smith, Braxton Jenkins, Berkleigh Sage Brasher, Sadie Utley, Asher Smith, Marley Jo Jenkins and baby Remi Jo Brasher, on the way.

Funeral services for R.B. will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethlehem FWB Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Guin family.
