Mrs. Cora Lee Linley Tucker Robertson

Mrs. Cora Lee Linley Tucker RobertsonCora was raised near Brilliant, Alabama, one of eleven children of Ben and Zona Linley. She married Eugene Tucker and raised two daughters, Peggy and Carolyn. She helped with and loved four amazing grandchildren, Hope, Patrick, Dawn, and Josh.She has enjoyed three great grandchildren, Sayde, Abby, and Emma. Cora later married Sonny Robertson and helped raise his son Mitch.

During her life she worked in sewing factories, including Munsingwear of Guin. After moving to Tuscaloosa, she became a caregiver to the elderly. Her hobbies included sewing and cooking.

More recently, Cora resided at Morningview Estates of Fayette, Alabama.Here she enjoyed Bingo and the other residents taught her to play Dominos. She particularly liked to get caught by Rhonda, the nurse, doing things that she was not supposed to be doing by herself.

To the nvery end, Cora provided love, care, and support to her family in spite of difficult times and health issues.Cora went to be with her Lord having accepted Jesus as her Savior and having been baptized at Center Methodist Church.

She is survived by; her daughters: Peggy (WC) Reese and Carolyn Wilson of Guin, grandchildren: Hope Smith of Winfield, Patrick (LaWanda) Wilson, Dawn (Todd) Seaton of Huntsville, Joshua C. Reese of Many, LA,great grandchildren: Sayde Smith, Abrielle “Abby” Reese and Emma Rose Wilson, brothers: Clyde Linley and Wayne Linley, sisters: Mamie Hullet and Lola Lowery.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Marion Benjamin and Martha Elzona White Linley; brothers Carl, Mack, and Clovis Linley; sisters, Carrie South, Clezel South, and Cleo Flanagan; son-in-law, Talmage Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday September 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. untill 10:30 a.m. (service time) from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Center Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. C.J. Townsend will officiate. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Robertson family.
