Mr. William Hardy Robinson, age 84, of Guin, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at his residence. Hardy was born October 1, 1934 in Walker County to Benjamin Franklin Robinson and Lucy Johnsey Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a good Christian man and Pastor. Hardy pastored many churches in and all around Alabama, but most recently taught Sunday School at the Guin First Baptist Church.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Juanice Simmons Robinson of Guin, two daughters, Brenda Fitts (Harvey) of McCalla, and JoAnne Bowen (Heath) of Alabaster, a son, Robert Robinson of Smokerise, stepchildren, Tammy Silas (Randy) and Tim Smith (Vicki) all of Guin, a brother, Leo Robinson (Linda) of McCalla, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, his church family and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Lucy Robinson, his wife, Joan Ezell Robinson, a sister, Mary Francis Robinson, and a daughter in law, Marsha Robinson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Guin First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville, AL. The visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Guin First Baptist Church. Brother C. W. Box and Brother Kenny Hatcher will be the officiating ministers. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield serving the Robinson family.
