Mr. Howard Dickinson, Jr. better known as Junior, age 78, of Winfield passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at his residence. Junior was employed by Continental Conveyor Company in Winfield for 45 years.
Junior loved his wife and cared for her over the years and loved everyone, he was always willing to do anything to help anybody he could, but he especially loved his children, grandchildren, and his “fur babies”.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Mildred Dickinson, daughter, Deborah Oelberg, son, Howard “Roy” Leroy Dickinson, III, grandchildren, Summer Noelle Dickinson Tucker (Jeffery Reed), Cody Charles Oelberg (Kayme), Elizabeth Brooke Edgil, Katie Corella Cook, great grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Ashlyn, Addison, Dalton, Belle, Bailey, McKenzie and Drew, daughter in law, Libby Edgil, and his beloved pets, Christmas, Demi and Anna.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Dickinson, Sr. and Geneva R. Snipes Dickinson, a grandson, Billy Dickinson, brother, Louis Dickinson, and two sisters, Eunice Dickinson Webster and Daisy Marie Dickinson Prescott.
Funeral services for Mr. Dickinson will be Thursday January 31, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (service time) on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery near Fowlers Crossroads.
