Mrs. Doris Leona “Dot” Eads Johnson, age 75, was received into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 25, 2018 after an extended illness. Dot will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, but we rejoice that she is at home in Heaven and completely healed.

Dot loved making people feel welcome, she enjoyed company and inviting friends and family into her beautifully decorated home. She taught Sunday school at her church for many years always focusing on children and young people. In her later years, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom were the joy of her life.

Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed being a housewife and raising her two wonderful children with her husband. She entered the workforce at Brilliant Bank in 1971 and retired from Listerhill Credit Union in 2005. She began Listerhill Credit Union with one typewriter, one desk, one chair, one file cabinet, and the determination to make this business a success. Dot delighted in getting to know her members, their families, and sharing in the joys, successes, and sorrows of each. She always remembered the names and faces of her members, and she was always glad to catch up with them any time she could.
