Mrs. Mary Lee Ellis, age 88, of Hamilton, Passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Sunset Manor Nursing Facility in Guin. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband Fred Ellis, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include her sons, Roland (Barbara) Ellis of Hamilton, and Merlon Ellis of Hamilton, grandchildren, Donna (Gene) Brown of Muscle Shoals, Jason Ellis of Muscle Shoals, Robert (Julie) Ellis of Haleyville, and Andrea (Billy) Earnest of Hamilton, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Bro. Randy Wright will be the officiating minister. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield directing.
