Mrs. Joyce Dodd, age 77, of The Sunny Home Community near Brilliant, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Winfield. Mrs. Dodd was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Earlene Tittle Baker, a brother, Donald Ray Baker, and a grandson Kenneth Blake Dodd. She is survived by her husband, Earnest Dodd, sons, Kenny (Linda) Dodd of Winfield, and Jeff (Jeanine) Dodd of Northport, Grandchildren, Jeremiah (Jessica) Dodd of Northport, Jena Dodd of Northport, and Brody Dodd of Winfield, sister, Shelby Tucker of Eldridge, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Oak Grove Church of Christ with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery, Bobby Dodd and Thurman Hubbert will be the officiating ministers. The Body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. on Friday at the church.
