Ms. Debra J. Sims, age 60 of Winfield, passed away on July 18, 2011, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfiled. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sims Jr. Ms. Sims is survived by her mother, Geraldine Sims of Winfield, a sister Jean McNeal of Winfield,  brothers, Kelley Sims of Winfield, and Richard Sims of Moline, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A memorial Service is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday July 22, from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with committal services to follow in Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery near Vina, AL. Randall Tice will be the officiating minister. The family will recieve friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home of Winfield directing.
