Mrs. Kathleen Diane Blair, better known as “Kat,” age 76, of the Barn Creek community passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at her residence. Kat was born on December 22, 1949, in Marion County, Alabama to Charles and Pearlie Tidwell Draper. Kat was a faithful member of Abundant Life Fellowship for many years. She attended Hubbertville High School and spent many years working as a seamstress at Reltoc Manufacturing until its closing. She later worked as a deli cook at Crossroads in Winfield, where she enjoyed serving others. Kat always enjoyed cooking, gardening, attending church, spending time with her grandchildren, and helping others.
Mrs. Blair is survived by her husband, John Blair; her son Steve Blair (Anissa); her grandchildren, Loren Collins (Chris), Morgan Leath (Davey), Haley Rayman (Zack), Andy Minor (Hannah), River Blair, and Remi Blair; great grandchildren, Kaysen Blair, Wrenley Rayman, Elowyn Leath, and Waylon Bailey; her brother, Tom Draper; sisters, Alice Marcum (Chris) and Dorothy Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Pearlie Draper, her great grandson, Lucas Rayman; her sisters, Maxine McCoy and Linda Burroughs; and an infant brother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blair will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Tidwell Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
